Spent much of this week recording the great Czech band .distin._ at my new studio in , Prague. I've had a few months off producing full time while I've been between studios/moving to Prague from New Zealand, so it was great to get back in the chair and make some loud noises. As well as a racket being made, there's been lots of waving, jokes about sausages, and a jar of kimchi.

Thanks to my better half / for joining us in the studio and getting some cool snaps :) Distin's new single is sounding huge and polished already, and I can't wait to finish it off for them and get it out in the world.

Prague Studio Finished! Located in , Prague 5, it's a beautiful space for tracking, mixing, mastering, and generally feeling inspired and creative. Thanks very much to , .fal , and to helping me put the thing together in a such a short time frame. Can't wait to start making a racket from next week!!

Alfie got a new piece of expensive studio gear to cover in dog hair. He also feels strongly that the Quad Cortex is a cut above its Axe FX iii counterpart based on how damn easy it is to use and get amazing tones quickly. I feel late to the party with this piece of kit. Amazing job !!

Throwback to the start of 2023 when and I spent 2 weeks writing their next EP, thanks to support from . A lot of great music and memories were made that Summer! Alfie the Golden Retriever was in attendance at all the sessions, providing a critical ear and regular cuddles.

It's been a long time since I've posted anything on here, but a lot has happened! and I got married in March 2023, had a baby, and moved to Prague. I've also had the pleasure of producing dozens of amazing artists in New Zealand, getting many songs in the charts. I'm planning to announce a studio time giveaway soon so will start posting more often to help the whole algorithm game. Expect both music and life updates! Follow if you have nothing better to do with your time and/or attention. Xx

Just welcomed this acoustic beastie to the musical family. Tried maybe 50 guitars in pursuit of the best sounding recording guitar I could find, and settled on this mammoth. So full bodied, perfect sparkle, sounds like an acoustic guitar should. Excited nerd over here.

I was passively listening as they were coming in and there is some stunning talent, so you've all made the upcoming decision making process very hard! I'm lucky to have the utmost pleasure of mixing ALL I SEEK's music. The hardest thing about mixing this song was trying to listen properly while also having the overwhelming physical impulse to start moshing at my desk. I absolutely love this song, especially the outro. Congrats on the release, guys!
