After a chat with a friend, I realized that family isn't about how things look, but about how we think together. Even though I already knew this, our talk made me see how easy it is for even church people, believer like us to misunderstand things because of our biases.

It got me thinking about why some people stay single for so long. I even wondered how someone like Pastor Chris could end up with a broken marriage. Life can throw us off course, and our pride can get in the way. We all carry baggage from past hurts that shape how we see and present ourselves.

Sometimes, people go along with things just to fit in, but eventually, even the most naive of us start to wise up. That might just be the end of one story and the start of another. That's life for you, full of surprises.
