I strongly condemn the use of excessive and unnecessary force in serving the warrant of arrest for Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ by police officers who are not even from Davao City. This incident occurred within a place of worship and on school premises, which is absolutely unacceptable.
Will this overkill be the trademark of this administration when dealing with individuals who are merely accused of committing a crime and have not been proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt?
Will they exhibit the same lack of self-restraint they have shown towards critics of this administration when dealing with their supporters?
How can this administration guarantee the preservation of the constitutional rights of our fellow Filipinos when even the most fundamental of these rights are being trampled upon and blatantly violated?
FACT CHECK: HINDI TOTOONG MAY PRIVATE ARMY SI PASTOR QUIBOLOY
Ang private army ay isang grupo ng mga armadong indibidwal na inorganisa, pinanatili, at kontrolado ng isang pribadong entidad o indibidwal sa halip na ng estado o gobyerno.
Wala si Pastor Quiboloy nito. Contrary to the claims of KOJC’s persecutors that Pastor Quiboloy has a private army, KOJC only has faithful followers who believe in the doctrine of repentance and obedience to God’s Words.
Ano ang meron kay Pastor Quiboloy?
Si Pastor Quiboloy ay mayroong mahigit 7 milyong tagasunod sa buong mundo, mga taong may iba’t ibang karanasan sa buhay, karamihan ay may masalimuot na nakaraan, ang iba ay maituring na salot ng lipunan, ngunit nang sila ay nakapakinig ng mga pangangaral ni Pastor Quiboloy sa TV at radio, sila ay nagsisi at nagbago.
Ang salot ay naging law-abiding, ang makasalanan ay naging matuwid, ang madamot ay naging mapagbigay, ang masama ay naging mabuti. Hindi sila private army na may mga armas pangwasak. Sila ay mga taong binago at handang ialay ang buhay para sa kabutihan dahil iyan ang turo ni Pastor Quiboloy sa kanila- ang maging mabuti.
Sino ang may pakana ng mga isyung may private army si Pastor Quiboloy? Ito ay isang estoryang gawa-gawa lamang ng mga nag-aakusa sa kanya, isang kasinungalingan na pilit inuli-ulit upang gawing katotohanan. Ito ang mga taong ang maitim ay ginawang maputi, ang maputi ay ginawang maitim. Ang malinis ay ginawang marumi, ang marumi ay ginawang malinis. This is what we call the mind-conditioning theory, upang gawing totoo ang isang kasinungalingan.
Ang totoo: WALANG PRIVATE ARMY SI PASTOR QUIBOLOY. Hindi niya kailangan ng baril upang mamuno. Si Pastor Quiboloy ay nakapaghikayat ng maraming miyembro dahil siya ay isang taong puno ng pag-ibig at habag sa mga nangangailangan; siya ay walang ibang bitbit kundi Bibliya upang maghatid ng kaligtasan sa bawat tahanan.
Ano ang meron kay Pastor Quiboloy? Mga taong bitbit ay mga walis upang linisan ang mga esteros, mga daan, at mga ilog; mga taong bitbit ay mga puno upang itanim sa mga bundok na kinalbo dahil sa illegal logging, at upang kung ang mga ito ay tumubo, makakatulong sa kapaligiran; mga taong bitbit ay pagkain upang tumulong sa mga bata at mga biktima ng sakuna; mga taong walang ibang dala kundi kabutihan sa kanilang mga puso dahil sila ay mga taong tunay na binago ng mga salita ng Diyos.
Walang private army si Pastor Quiboloy; wala silang mga baril; sila ay mga sundalo ng kabutihan na ang tanging sandata ay pag-ibig ng Diyos.
