Samaa is a record label from the heart of Asia founded in 2017 by Jafar and is an addition to the Digital Om Productions family. After years of traveling, DJ-ing, and co-working behind various projects and labels, Jafar intends to bring his own vision in, and the idea of Samaa Records is born. Inspired by the tolerance and heritage of the (Sufis), the name (Samaa) was chosen. (Samaa) literally mea

ns the exalted in a Sufi ceremony of dancing oneself into a state of trance and bliss and is the mystical merging with the divine, a journey of man's spiritual ascent through mind and love to perfection, deserting one's ego. A transformation process that leads to (Wajd), a trance-like state of ecstasy. Physically this state may include unexpected movements, agitation, and a can lead to (Khamra), which means “spiritual drunkenness.”

Samaa Records purely created out of love for psychedelic music and its culture. It wishes to send its frequencies and vibrations to bring similar experiences of ultimate bliss, love, and awareness to global dancefloors and hope it helps people dissolve their differences of religion, race, caste, country, and any such boundaries between them.

The Eastern Wind embodies the morning breeze—optimistic and persistent. This Eastern sorceress brings light and wisdom with a gentle yet steady force.

The Southern Wind, warm and intense, pierces through facades to reveal truths, mirroring the deep focus of a Southern sorceress.

Lastly, the Western Wind, cold and reflective, stirs deep emotions and reflection, typical of a Western sorceress’s reflective nature.
