The symbol of this channel is the '68 Dodge Charger, which I personally imported from San Diego in 2008. I've never managed to fully track its history, but know it came originally from San Fran (where it did the rotting). I've kept its black plate for posterity, and am hopefully finding more backstory out soon - as well as making something interesting with the plate for the office thanks to .uk

Despite it being the mascot of TLBS the Charger rarely appears on episodes. That is entirely my fault. Last year I didn't use it for boring reasons, but this year it's already out, serviced and in an episode of coming soon we will be power tuning the original #'s matching 6.3 big block on the dyno for the first time.

In truth it's way overdue, as it's had an annoying flatspot for several years, but I want to really refine the driving experience for 2025 without modernising it. This is no restomod - it's an authentic 1968 Mopar driving experience, and that's how it'll stay.

Many of you guessed correctly as to what the latest Barnfind vehicle was - the first mass produced 16-valve engined car. The Triumph Dolomite Sprint is a car we now see racing in the packs at but for years it's lived in the shadows of fast rwd Escorts, hot hatches and marques with a badge that still exists.

This car is now for sale, so please email if you're serious. It's better than it looks.

Most of the time I attend car events for work, or for myself. But last Sunday my son really wanted to try and get to for the J*p show. He loves J*panese machinery, and it is no secret that I'm partial (see last pic), so we headed over.

Relaxed atmos, amazing weather (Pod Face is real) and it was a real joy to see him influenced by so many people's project cars.

I'm lucky that my hobby is also my business. It isn't always easy, but the passion is never faked. There are always interesting cars to see and even more interesting people to meet.

The bagged Jonny Cab Tokyo Taxi continues to be probably my most reliable, consistently smooth and easy going project car. But it's time for rims...

I love a factory, and car factories never cease to fascinate. The latest video captures a whistle stop tour of the technologically advanced eco facility of where the new R5 is made (alongside their other EV models).

Same factory as where the original Renault 5 was made, but a very different set up from the 70s.

Hope you enjoy following my visit, and the smattering of retro French motors I street spotted on the scenic drive back home via Le Chunnel.

A small dump of Members Meeting. Weather held, sights and sound memory bank topped up and I took my kids for the first time. Scroll to see my son's response to the T50 procession.

I love seeing younger people inspired by car events or certain vehicles out on the road/track. It is the lifeblood of what we do as creators and enthusiasts. Please, never stop inspiring others who like your car or want to chat.

5 mins before the new video appeared slithered past the chequered flag in a DB4GT. Immaculate timing.

Thank you to for the generous invite.

Happy birthday to my bro Greg. 48 today. He was forever dismantling my toys and trying to reassemble them (with patchy success), then moved onto Briggs and Stratton mower engines from neighbours/the tip. Greg is funnier than me, stronger than me, and way more talented.

As my big bro, he is always there when I've got a question, need a shoulder to lean on, or one of my cars is broken beyond my pay grade.

Greg will appear as guest on the podcast v soon indeed. Believe.

Shall we drag him out onto more barnfinds?

to 20 years ago....

I accidentally became christened the 'Viper Wiper'. The SRT/10 had been launched in the UK as a special order vehicle (along with the V10 truck) and on (where I was working at the time) we had both on test.

The Viper had a rep, and then editor was keen to remind me that an 8.0-litre plastic bodied car with barrels for tyres and no traction control might try to bite. I needed a bite to eat at lunchtime and politely asked to borrow it for a sandwich run. Graphic designer on the mag rode shot gun in the cold autumn afternoon. I was carefully, I promise. I never tried to show boat, but yet within 2 miles of pulling it out of the carpark we found out selves overcorrecting on a straight dual carriageway, and eventually sliding backwards (time to dip the clutch and chat about which trees we would end up in) and then beginning a collision with nature that would cause £58k of damage to a box fresh £80k car.

Look at my head in hands on photo 3. Shortly after I had to make THE call to my editor who then made THE call to Dodge UK. They didn't communicate with me for 2 yrs straight.

The car was apparently shipped back to US for repair and I always wondered who ended up buying it. Where are you now KM05 KHW?

I've never driven a Viper since. Perhaps it's time?

The old patina tw come together. I have had so little chance to work on my own cars this year, but today I got under the Charger and gave it an oil service, plus some other bits, in prep for its first rolling road tune.

The 2cv had a run out in the Mother's Day sun, and that's the subject of this week's video on - the finale episode on the rebuild in fact.

Would you like to see more Dodge episodes on the channel?

This is home. Home for my treasured cars. It's a corner of and I'm so chuffed to have somewhere to start settling the workshop and my hoarded bits/bobs after a somewhat unsettled personal few years.

I've started selling/donating/binning some of the parts and trinkets I've accumulated over several decades, and then it's time to get some storage and benches installed.

Loving the personalised .co.uk floor tiling (there's a code of JONNY10” for 10% discount on your order).

Going back to my roots this wknd with a straight review of a new car - the Kia EV3. We've approached the review in a slightly different manner, and made it more snappy, so keen to know what you think.

It's not a supercar or a sexy sounding hot hatch, but it's a near 400 mile family electric car which might well be the greatest in its class.

Kia/Hyundai are the ones to watch in my view.
