TAKE HEART

The storms of life can take their toll
But have no fear, God's in control...
Through gusts of wind, and snow, and rain
He is with us now and knows our pain...
Like the days of old God makes a way
And He guides our lives from day to day...
As we go through trials, and strife, and thorns
JESUS beckons us and He gently warns...
Warns us to depart from sin
And gives us strength to begin again...
So take heart now if you're in despair
And think this life is too unfair...
JESUS gave His life for this world that's lost
That's why He died upon the cross...

JESUS IS THE WAY

Forgive us Lord, as we forgive others
Bless and keep safe our sisters and brothers...
Watch our going out and our coming in
Help us take the next step, help us begin...
Pour out Your rain on the just and unjust
Let us rely on You, let us learn to trust...
We thank You Lord for our daily bread
And help us to pray on our knees by our bed...
Give us strength as You fight our battle
Keep us away from the serpent's rattle...
Strengthen our heart and strengthen our mind
May we have wisdom to leave sin behind...
Bless God's children, bless husband and wife
JESUS is the way, the truth, and the life...
Guard our soul as the world grows dim
No one comes to the Father except through Him.

JESUS LOVES YOU GREATLY

This is the day that the Lord has made
JESUS is the rock of our Salvation...
WE love Him because He first loved us
He is Lord of all, every city and nation...
He cares for us, even when we let Him down
JESUS picks us up when we fall...
The light of His kindness shines in our hearts
He hears our voice when we call...
The King of Kings came down to this earth
His mission to heal and to serve...
JESUS made a way for us to be saved
He offers forgiveness that we don't deserve...
The birth pains now are intensifying
This shows that we're in the Last Days...
Signs of the times are everywhere
Proof of His soon return in so many ways...
So take heart as the world grows dark
And changes come like waves of the tide...
And know that JESUS loves you greatly
For He is very much on your side!

"FEAR NOT"

The Heavens declare the beauty of God's glory
The BIBLE, inspired, tells of His wonderous story...
The sun, moon, and stars there for signs and seasons
God created many things, but He doesn't always give reasons...
What about the pyramids (?)
What about the mysteries (?)
The sands of time are running down
Current events form the climax of history...
Wars and rumors of wars, happening now
JESUS warned of this age...We should take a knee and bow...
Things that happened in the past seem to repeat
But God's plan, understand, doesn't miss a beat...
So what should we do (?)
Should we panic (?)
Should we fear (?)
JESUS says "Fear not", and His return is drawing near...
So take heart my friend when evil takes its toll
For God is on the throne and He's in total control!

THE CARPENTER'S SON (CONTINUED)

He healed with the hem of His garment
He turned the water to wine...
He fed all the people, a miracle!
Yes on bread and on fish they did dine...
He was tempted alone in the desert
Yet on God's Word He really did stand...
His life was the ultimate sacrifice
Heaven the prize is so grand...
He walked the streets of the city
Jerusalem gave Him reason to weep...
He stood trial but was truly innocent
When accused He hardly uttered a peep...
He gave up His life on the cross
And suffered the pain for us all...
One criminal to join Him in Paradise
He wants for us to heed His call...
The grandest King of all of the cosmos
After three days He rose up again...
Yes JESUS the Carpenter's Son
Made the way for forgiveness of sin!

God sends His angels
To watch over you...
Ask Him, and He will
Make your life brand new...
He looks down with compassion
Looks down from above...
He wants none to perish
For God is pure love...
From cover to cover
The Bible is true...
From Genesis to Revelation
Many are called...the chosen are few...
Praise be to God
Give Him all the glory...
For He created history
And yes it's His story...
The prophets foretold
Of the Messiah to come...
A sacrifice for sin
That's why God sent His Son...
Yes, JESUS won the battle
On Calvary's cross...
To those who believe
They will never be lost...
So put your trust in JESUS
Maker of the sun and the moon

BE ENCOUREGED...For the LORD is on the throne
He will never leave nor forsake you
And you will never be alone...
BE ENCOURAGED...Even in the darkest night
He controls the stars of the universe
May He cover you with His light...
BE ENCOURAGED...When the world looks upside down
For He has not given us a spirit of fear
But of power, and of love, and a mind that is sound...
BE ENCOURAGED...Through the trials and the pain
The earth may indeed pass away
But the Word of God will remain...
BE ENCOURAGED...For God is a God of love
No matter what you're going through
He is watching you from above...
BE ENCOURAGED...When chaos fills the earth
JESUS gave His life for your life
And He knew you before your birth...
