🚨PLEASE READ🚨
You may have seen this a few times already from some creators, and if you are a creator yourself reading this, I recommend making a post like this for your community.
It appears FB has been automatically turning off notifications for viewers or even completely unfollowing them. I was even unfollowed from my own page after one of the updates. I know that this isn’t happening to everyone, but just in case, there are a few things you can do to make sure this hasn’t happened to you and if it does, you’ll know how to fix it in the future!
First Picture: To make sure you are getting ALL notifications follow these steps!
1. Tap and enter into any old stream on my page.
2. Find the bell on the right side of the screen. (If you don’t see the bell, you’ll need to tap on the video to make the bell menu drop down.)
3. Click the bell, and select “All Live Notifications”
Second Picture: To see my posts and streams higher on your timeline follow these steps!
1. Go to my page either by timeline or searching in your search bar.
2. Depending on your phone, you will either see “see first” or “favorites” at the top of the page. Tap on whichever one you see.
3. Select “favorites” or “see first”
Things have been strange lately but the community has been absolutely incredible. I don’t mean for this to sound like any complaint. I am always trying to stay in a positive mindset, but truthfully I still let things get to me and sometimes it shows. I’m working on myself everyday to change that. But the things above are good proactive steps to help better the platform we all know and love! 💙
