The resilience, grace, and power shown by the class of 2024 has been incredible, and INSPIRING.
I am appalled at how these ‘prestigious’ institutions are treating our fellows.We’re being tested. But the good thing about tests is that they reveal our STRENGTHS.

For the past few days in Tucson, Arizona there were two very distinct groups that took over the same hotel— @thenextstepus and @vfwhq. We kept saying what an interesting coincidence this was… but it wasn’t a coincidence at all.

As we were shooting this video, one of our heroic amputees, Avidah, came over and we started to chat. Avidah lost his home, leg, wife and son on 10/7. Only him & his daughter survived that day.
Shelley told Avidah about her experience of October 7th with the rockets app. She then tells me “I want you to know, I was praying for you on October 7th”. And he responded, “So you’re telling me your prayers saved me & my daughter”. 🥺

Ms Rachel, I think you might be a newbie to all this marketing and PR stuff, so lemme break it down as a veteran:
You as “Ms Rachel” may be a person, but you’re also a brand. A brand that has marketed themselves as one who is inclusive to ALL children.
So when you take on partnerships with an organization like @savethechildren, you should be asking yourself “Hmmm, does their messaging affect my brand messaging and not align with my full audience?”.
And you know, we all get it wrong and make mistakes sometimes and that’s OK. But when you’re hearing a lot of feedback from your audience members—the way one as a brand alters their brand messaging isn’t to double down on the messaging that ain’t working & deleting comments that don’t fit your narrative…
The answer is to: LISTEN & LEARN & ALTER.
