The brand new WONDERboom album "Hard Mode" releases tomorrow, Friday 22 March. It is in my opinion their finest work to date, and not to take anything away from the previous albums, but it sounds like they have decisively come into their own with this one.

It has distinctly Wonderboom DNA, with world-class songwriting that ranges from energetic and upbeat, to slightly darker and wistful, subtly flirts with a few different genres and incorporates electronic elements without taking the focus from the guitar-driven Rock sound. The result is a modern and contemporary musical timbre, perfectly balanced with the assistance of producer Matthew Fink.

You can clearly hear it is a work of natural passion, produced for the sake of making a great album and not contrived to fit into a commercialized box. It is not “product” or “content”, it a work of musical art and the crowning jewel in the Wonderboom body of work.
