BLACKLIST242 is both an alert system and an archive; it reports specifically on unfair, discriminatory, unsatisfactory, and/ or abusive practices/ policies/ processes of businesses and government in The Bahamas, by issuing alerts containing such information. Alerts are disseminated via the BLACKLIST242 public page, to keep persons living/ working/ doing business in The Bahamas aware of ch
anges in or conditions of business and government practices/ policies. Additionally, the public is welcome to post their experiences to the page, without malicious or personal attacks/ details. BLACKLIST242 reserves the right to delete comments and/ or block abusers. If a member of the public thinks an experience is worthy of being enshrined in a daily alert -- and it is a verifiable/ legitimate experience -- they can send a private Facebook message or a private email message outlining their concerns. We will post concerns that are, preferably, reported by more than one person, and which we believe the public should be made aware of. The names of persons making submissions are confidential and never used in alerts/ postings/ reports.
