The Citrine Room
I built The Citrine Room because I am a storyteller. As a storyteller, I also appreciate good writing and articles that make me think and feel. So I wanted to build a space and a community where I could share my own work and the work of others that I find interesting (which you will find in our ‘#Repost’ section). All of which, I hope, will be pieces that make you think and feel.
During my 20 year career as a broadcast journalist, and in particular my time at CNN, I had the privilege of interviewing some incredibly fascinating people. But what made them fascinating to me wasn’t their celebrity but their journey, their challenges, their determination, and their vulnerabilities. Through them I learned that it was ok to fail, to detour, to have insecurities, and ultimately, how to get back on our own track. Their stories are our stories. And there are so many stories still to tell.
