Clobber Records is an independent record label that promotes its bands through an unquestionable belief in their relevance to the current time. The label is run in a committed, innovative and professional manner and invests in bands so that they may grow and grasp new opportunities. It is instantaneous, emotive and direct. All the signs of its creation are laid bare - those of struggle, of sufferi
ng, of pain, of elation and of coincidence. And the echoes remain forever. Music should be an experience, lifting us, and then carrying us from one side of the chasm to the other. Once the other side is reached, we will look back and see that there was never any chasm there at all. It is our greatest freedom and allows us the chance to simply observe. Without direction. Without motive. It is a way of life. At Clobber Records, we are neither thinkers nor thoughts, neither observers nor the observed. We are here, in this moment, and we hope that you will join us. Today we look back and reflect on an eventful year since the release of our third full length effort - BLACKEST INSURRECTION - a record that not only defined the true sound and direction of SIDIOUS, but has seen us perform extensively across Britain, helped forge new alliances and in exactly seven days time, will see us sail to the main lands of Europe for our live debuts in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Belgium.

An absolutely excellent line up of atmospheric and dissonant black metal comes to Scruffy Murphys on 25th March.
Headliners Dawn Ray'd need no introduction as they continue to mesmerise with their anarchistic outpourings. Their forthcoming album 'To Know The Light' will be released the day before via Prosthetic Records.
Crimson Throne return to Birmingham and bring their immersive and isolated ambience set within soaring atmospheric black metal. Opening proceedings will be a first visit for Cairns - Band who are one of the most exciting prospects in the genre at the moment. Their debut EP 'Keening' is out now on Clobber.
