In today's episode, my conversation is with the one and only Tiila Abbott of Athr Beauty. As a passionate, highly creative product development professional with 11+ years' experience- including the international prestige beauty industry, she founded her very company in 2018. I love the fact she harnesses the power of crystals and use in her makeup. The colors are phenomenal and long lasting.

In this episode we discuss everything from green beauty to award winning formulation to reusable toilet paper. YES...you heard me...reusable toilet paper.

In honor of National Women's History Month, my conversation is with the infamous DJ Ry Toast (aka Ryan Nolan). She started her DJ career in San Fran before heading out to LA in 2013. Known for her dedication to her multiple crafts (as a skilled turntablist and trusted yoga teacher) she has become a force not to be fu**ed with and a pillar in the DJ community Ry also had a very productive 2020… ​. Her band Tyrone’s Jacket released their debut album (click here to listen) and she launched yoga and mixtapes - a weekly virtual yoga class that she teaches using her own custom mixtapes as the soundtrack (click here to sign up!)

In this episode she shares habits which embodies the significance and importance of taking advantage of the Golden Hour.

Next we talking about rituals surrounded around loving and owning her craft as a DJ.

We then shift into food...pizza and plant-based living! One of our favorite topics.

Stress is so damn sneaky. Especially right now, in the midst of the Coronavirus. Sometimes you don’t even know that you’re feeling it until you turn your head and your neck hurts, maybe you feel a constant pit in your stomach, or you notice your heart is beating faster than normal. The truth is, some stress is normal … but chronic stress (like what can be happening right now with everything going on) can do a real number on your body. Believe me...I know. It can wreak havoc on your hormones, causing you gain weight (especially unhealthy belly fat).
