Meet the staff 👋🏽 Elizabeth was born in Conroe, TX, a city north of Houston. She moved to San Antonio at the age of 25 to try something new and to continue her education. In December of 2020 she received her Associates of Liberal Arts from Northwest Vista College. She’s an avid podcast listener and loves all genres of music. Some of her favorite things to do when she’s not working or attending class is going for hikes with her friends or walking through the city with her fiancé finding food trucks, or pop ups where she can support local vendors. Spending time at home and binging shows while cuddling with her dogs is also one of her favorite pass times. Some of the things that ignite her interest and passion are social justice issues, borderland issues, immigration reform and equality for all. Currently, she is finishing her undergrad at A&M-San Antonio, majoring in communications with a minor in Mexican American/ Latinx/ Borderland Studies. She hopes to graduate in the Spring of 2023 and to work for Texas Public Radio one day. She wishes to be a part of a community that continues to work hard in amplifying important stories and providing quality news.
