ROUND MAN GIVES A DAMN!

Alright, guys. In true Chef Spenny fashion, in a determined Round Man voice, we’re about to hit ya with some depth here.

A common theme, better yet a core value, of the Churchill family and more specifically of Round Man Brewing Co. is true, unwavering, unshakable altruism. Call it sappy, call it fluffy, call it bu****it, it is what it is. It is the belief we all share that we have an absolute responsibility to foster our home into a better place by improving the lives of each other. While we will quietly argue that we make strides to do this every day -- for our guests by offering a warm smile, a hot meal, and a cold beer, and for our staff by implementing safeguards to protect the wellness and health of each of them and their families -- we still think we can afford to do significantly better.

As we continue to mature as a business, we have established that the best way to grow our business is to strengthen the community that serves us, to continue to use our small piece of influence to build our home into a place that makes our children proud. It is with this motif that we move on moments where notable actions need to come into play.

So, here we go, guys...

This Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 24th, we’ll be turning off our cash registers and opening our doors in an effort to show a little bit of love to the community that has given so much to us. We’ll be hosting a traditional, full-service Thanksgiving meal on us from 12:00 to 4:00. This meal is open to anyone and everyone, no questions asked. Be that service-industry, healthcare, or first-responder workers without the opportunity to prepare a meal, elderly or less fortunate individuals, those without family, those incapable of travel, or those that just simply can't cook a turkey to save their lives.

The menu will be as follows:
• Turkey
• Mashed Potatoes
• Gravy
• Dressing
• Mixed Vegetables
• Green Bean Casserole
• Cranberry Relish
• 7-layer Salad
• Dinner Rolls
• Pumpkin Pies

Coffee, sodas, and waters will also be included, our bar will be open and staffed; beer, cocktails, and wine will be available for purchase.

We will, of course, be taking reservations for the day, offering full to-go options for anyone that wishes to dine at home with their families, and will be willing to provide delivery services to those in our community who may not be able to find their way to us safely. More information regarding this will be released soon.

Additionally, we want to open a bit of a call to action this year. Should you know someone who may be without a meal, who may be without access to Facebook, who may feel ashamed to take this gift, we encourage you to let us help. Whether that’s dropping a meal at the door or inviting them to join you at one of our tables; small actions produce big results.

Last year we approached nearly 700 meals served and we wish to blow that out of the water.
