Once upon a time in a small village, there lived a young boy named Tom. Tom was always full of wild ideas, but his latest was the wildest yet. He decided he wanted to leave the world because of poverty. "Life is too hard here," he thought, "I need to find a better place."
One day, he climbed up the tallest tree in his village and shouted, "I am leaving this world! Goodbye, cruel world!"
His neighbors gathered below, bewildered. Mrs. Jenkins, the kind old lady from next door, called out, "Tom, what are you doing up there?"
"I'm leaving!" Tom declared dramatically. "I'm going to find a place where money grows on trees and everyone is rich!"
Mr. Smith, the village carpenter, laughed and said, "Tom, money doesn't grow on trees! Come down before you hurt yourself."
But Tom was determined. "No, Mr. Smith, I've heard stories about a magical place where everything is free and no one is poor!"
Just then, his best friend Jerry showed up with a rope. "Tom, if you want to leave the world, you need a spaceship, not a tree!"
Tom scratched his head. "A spaceship? But where do I find one?"
Jerry grinned and handed him a piece of paper. "Here's a drawing of one. We can build it together!"
Tom climbed down, excited. The villagers watched in amusement as the boys spent the next few days collecting scraps of wood, metal, and anything else they could find. They built a rickety contraption that looked more like a chicken coop than a spaceship.
Finally, the day of the launch arrived. The whole village gathered to watch. Tom and Jerry climbed into their "spaceship," and with much fanfare, they started shaking and making rocket noises. The villagers cheered and laughed.
After a while, Tom peeked out. "Are we there yet?"
Mr. Smith chuckled. "Almost, Tom. Just a little more shaking!"
