We haven’t posted in a good while but have entered 2023 with a renewed sense of optimism and creative energy. We have a micro-short comedy, “Wake Up”, in the festival pipeline–including the Phoenix Film Festival! This one was produced with our hilarious and gifted collaborators Sally Jane Pitts and Ryan Gaumant. We’re also excited to have a mini-retrospective of four Limitrophe short films playing at the 2023 Arivaca Independent Filmmakers Expedition (http://www.arivacafilmfestival.com/) in Southern Arizona this March.
What else? On the documentary front, we are elated to share that we’ve welcomed Jacob Bricca, A.C.E. to the team for our feature, Unfinished Work, as editor. Jacob is a professor, director, and editor of such notable films as Missing in Brooks County, The Bad Kids, and Lost in La Mancha. We are inspired by his work and beyond excited for his contribution to this project.
Beyond that, we have feature scripts in various stages of idea, half-written, and revision. With the new tax incentives taking effect in AZ, there’s a lot to be excited about on the horizon–a rising tide and all that.
