In my visions I have seen and felt the incredible love that's always waiting for me, nothing else matters to me but going back into that great love... Material things mean nothing, and will be easily left behind. There's no comparison.
We are eternal spirit beings having a temporary mortal existence. We're here for such a short time, to make progress improving our character. It's just like being away ar school for a year. We learn from our mistakes and slowly improve.
When we return, we evaluate what we've learned, and what we need next. We choose our curriculum for our next life, when and where we will be born, who our parents will be.
If we knew the glories that await us, we'd hurry through our self study to achieve this lifetime's goals, so we can go back. But we've been given our freewill to take as many side trips as we like. The trouble is we think we have all the time in the world (while we're here). However, mortal life is really pretty short.

Apache Tribe Custom. Marriage.
When an Apache man marries he goes and lives with his wife’s younger sister and/or brother.
He is then charged with providing for his wife and her parents. The main idea is the provision aspect. An Apache man must be able to provide for his wife and her family.
While they did allow polygamy the same principle applied. Any wife that a man took he must be able to provide for his wife and her family. If he was not able to do so, then he could not take another wife.
Apache Tribe Customs. Babies.
The Cradleboard Ceremony consisted of a medicine man or woman blessing the child with cattail pollen.
If the baby was male he was placed in the cradleboard, then he/she were lifted by the medicine person in four directions the first always being east.
If the baby was female the custom was similar except that she was lifted up facing east prior to being placed in the cradleboard.
As the babies grew and began to walk there was another custom which was called the Moccasin Ceremony. This took place after the baby took its first steps and was done to bless the child to walk a strong, straight path in life.
The baby was given new moccasins and walked a path of pollen that led east.
Apache Tribe Custom. Manhood.
The Apache tribe prepared boys for manhood through physical tests when they were very young. One example was to help build strength and endurance as they grew older.
When the boys became a nuisance to an elder the elder would tell the boys to run to the top of the mountain and come back again. The distance would vary depending on their age. As they got older the targeted mountain would be taller resulting in more endurance.
Fathers would also have their sons hold water in their mouths to practice breathing through their noses. This was extremely important living in a desert climate because breathing through one’s mouth could result in dehydration which could then lead to death.

Comanche portraits
North America was a place of great turbulence and many conflicts when the newcomers decided to inhabit the land and take parts of it for themselves.
In the 18th and 19th century, many tribes, such as Iroquois, Cherokee and Shawnee were overwhelmed by the number of settlers moving westward across America.
When the settlers started moving to the southern edges of the continent their movement was put to a halt for some time. A fierce tribe of Comanche were the reason for it.Even though many tribes have adapted to the introduction of the horse, the Comanche were the group who took most advantage out of it.Previously being an obscure mountain tribe, the Comanche became the fiercest and most famous riders that caused many troubles to the settlers.
In contrast to, for example, Sioux and Cheyenne that would dismount their horses before battle, Comanche continued riding in a fight, which gave them a significant advantag

Time is running out for me too,
And life has left scars on my face.
Though my body is growing old,
My soul will always stay young.
The day will come,
When I too will cross the bridge,
And leave this earthly life behind.
But as long as you remember me, I'll live in your heart.
My soul will stay with you,
You will see my face in the rising sun.
My eyes in the stars,
That look down on you every night.
I'll look back one last time,
And then my form will be slowly swallowed up on the other shore.
My own poem.

Crazy Horse – A Sacred Hero
Crazy Horse was born on the Republican River about 1845. He was killed at Fort Robinson, Nebraska, in 1877, so that he lived barely thirty-three years.
He was an uncommonly handsome man. While not the equal of Gall in magnificence and imposing stature, he was physically perfect, an Apollo in symmetry. Furthermore he was a true type of Indian refinement and grace. He was modest and courteous as Chief Joseph; the difference is that he was a born warrior, while Joseph was not. However, he was a gentle warrior, a true brave, who stood for the highest ideal of the Sioux [Lakota.] Notwithstanding all that biased historians have said of him, it is only fair to judge a man by the estimate of his own people rather than that of his enemies
