I’m Michael and it’s a privilege to get to do what I do for a living. I’d describe it as a professional memory catcher.

When I’m not behind the camera or breaking a sweat at , you can often find me exploring the aisles of Trader Joe’s, hunting for unique and delicious finds.

I’m passionate about people and believe in knowing and loving them well. This passion fuels my creativity and drives my work, as I strive to capture genuine emotions and connections in every wedding I film.

I would describe myself as an introverted extrovert. I cherish my alone time but also thrive in small groups of people who know me well. Welcome to this little corner of the internet! I’m so glad you’re here.

I love what I do! Getting to hang out with Stephanie and Josh before their wedding day and creat some magic in Colonial Williamsburg was so much fun!! I love getting to know couples as friends prior to their wedding day, building that connection, and being their biggest fans. From the moment when I captured my first wedding, I knew I had found something that was more than a job, it was my calling. Being a wedding videographer is a privilege that goes beyond documenting a wedding; it’s about telling a story that will be preserved for generations to come. This is why I LOVE building and having these connections with my couples for SO many years to come.

Counting down to the last few weeks of wedding season and what a fun year it’s been! 2 countries, 7 states, and so many memories captured and preserved. I’m so excited to dive into editing all these magical moments from this past year. If you’re new around here, welcome to the party! 🥳 my name is Michael and I’m already so excited to meet you! Some fun facts about me!
1. I shot my first wedding before I could drive in 2014. Hard to believe we’re coming up on 10 years of this adventure. 😭
2. Give me alll the beach days (like you see in these pics) I’m a summer beach boy all the way and if my feet are in the sand I’m a happy camper.
3. I’m a Trader Joe’s die hard fan. Catch me walking up and down the aisles sometimes just for fun finding new things to try and add to my list! If you need recommendations I’m your dude.

4. My faith in Jesus guides everything I do! He’s given me this gift to create beautiful art that captures the essence of marriage and the covenant that it is.

I’m so excited to show you all this new site on Monday. has been crafting this new online home behind the scenes for the past few months. I’m excited to pull back the curtain on what she’s been working on. Swipe to see a little preview 👀. Sarah did such an AMAZING job crafting a site that represents me, this new season of business, and, also setting the course for the next chapter of Michael Lemley Films and all that’s on the horizon. Mark your calendar for Monday, January 30 at 1 PM EST for the launch! I can’t speak highly of Sarah and this entire design process.
