Up NOW, don’t forget! 21” long, lights up red AND the iconic red interior, AND…sounds?! Also comes with (what I only assume is) an exclusive 7” scale Batman Beyond figure WITH the red shading of the 🔥 interior. It took me a second why he’s all red, but it’s because of the shading and also what it looks like when Terry helms the Batmobile and his suit connects to its controls, firing up its own circuits red. This thing is gorgeous. We’ve done numerous collectible wishlists Beyond on the pod. This was of course at the top every time. For Batman Day, I’d like to share my new prized Bat possession, my ‘Director’s hat’ I got for our upcoming Batman Beyond documentary: The freshest of fresh Batman Beyond 39 Thirty from -Swipe for the Beyond solid red UNDER the brim (Excuse the Star Wars shirt, didn’t have a Bat shirt at the studio). The logo stitching is super high quality, it feels like a dream—a cowl Beyond—to wear; very comfortable! I’d highly recommend getting one, they have a whole line of great BTAS/Batman hats right now. One thing I’d say: I have a HUGE head, they only had the “Med-Large” size, but it’s perfect for my oversized dome. Thought I’d mention that if you find one from Batcave you like. Much Bat love to you all, hope you did at least one thing today to honor our great hero. Beside my Bat hat pic Beyond, I also happened to land, on my Saturday morning rewatch of Harley Quinn S2, the all-Batman episode. That show’s brilliant. I’m truly grateful to you all for the follows and love, especially on a day like Batman Day. Stay tuned for updates on our documentary, it’s already shaping into something far Beyond my expectations. See how you’re checking your phone right now? That was me watching this show. Batman: The AI Series. Just type in “Bruce Timm, 1940s, superfluous social commentary box checking,” you got yourself a Caped Crusader. Some AI admittedly looks great (even though I don’t promote it). So, yes, we got 2 great episodes of an animated Batman show. But a lot of it’s not objectively great, and worst and most important of all, it’s literally got no soul. To be clear I’m not saying CC wasn’t made by humans. It’s a metaphor that ironically means there are TOO MANY humans working on it.
The result? Oswalda Cobblepot. A “Batcave” with a desk, filing cabinets, and a transparent map. There was tech in the 40s. Look it up. Remember Gotham? I don’t. Maybe a shot or 2. But, why is a main character (as we all know) like Gotham forgettable? The good news is there were always 20 episodes coming, so maybe season 2 will feel more human using less humans. I don’t need 20 different top tier directors telling me what an animated Bat show should look like. I’d prefer animators. Writers who work in animation. I know we’re obviously getting some experienced animation people but it doesn’t feel like there’s enough.

Michael Imperioli is Moe (and Joe) Dubelz. -Kite Man: Hell Yeah! They got an actual Soprano to play this ridiculous E-list gangster(s). I’m SO happy with this show. It feels like back-to-basics Harley Quinn S1-2. Later seasons, that show diminished a bit in my opinion. Thursday’s ep is especially great. Hell Yeah! This still is exactly what’s wrong with this movie: POTENTIAL. I should love a film where Terry McGinnis knees N***s in the face. The problem is Crisis: Part 3–well—it sucked. I debated posting about this, especially after deciding not to review it; but coming across this pic made the decision easy. Beyond aside, I’m also, as many of you know, OBSESSED with DC Animated movies in their own right, creating/hosting the . Part 3 had the potential, and even attempted, bringing back all DC animated properties possible. But, if you ask me, they dropped the ball. At no point do they change animation styles so no universe changes feel authentic. So the ULTIMATE multiverse story, the settings and characters we actually want to see, are rushed. Meanwhile, most of the film is yet another installment of boring exposition. I’m happy we’re moving on from the Tomorrow-verse, at this point I’m fine letting this go and starting fresh. It’s hard because it’s a big waste in my opinion, but what else are you gonna do? Plenty of future projects I can’t wait to see.
