“We got the shot.” It’s been over a year since our faces have made an appearance on the feed so hi there 👋🏾👋🏽. If you’re new, yes, we’re married so if you meet us at an event and we seem “familiar” with eachother, that’s why. This is year nine for KEJ, and if we’ve learned anything about filming weddings it’s that there’s an art to reading a room. To capture moments well you need to be present but not distracting. And if you’re not smiling at the end of a 3 day weekend, you’re working with the wrong creatives. Special thanks to our new friend for capturing a rare BTS photo us. (Are you even a videographer if you’re not schlepping gear somewhere?) Thanks for the amazing (and fun) collaboration Nathan!

Chelsea & Amile’s Martha’s Vineyard wedding is without question one of the most spectacular events we have ever captured and I couldn’t stop smiling as I read the Vogue feature. Every bloom, every layer of fabric, every custom detail was crafted with purpose and intention, brought to life by . Alongside the beautiful design on this remarkable island, we loved the little moments in between. Like how Mr. Grain received an impromptu drone lesson after enthusiastically finding Kaleb in the garden capturing aerials of the bay. Or how Amile’s mom and dad’s eyes sparkled with pride as they tearfully listened to Amile’s vows. Or Dr. Lisa Grain's genuine smile when she asked “Where’s that baby?!” after meeting our Hugo the day prior. And most of all, how Chelsea & Amile welcomed us with warmth and sincerity - a trait all of their loved ones spoke of generously throughout the weekend.

It was such an honor to serve this incredible family and capture the continuation of their legacy.

The bride wore a blush Monique Lhuillier dress and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels to walk down the aisle in the backyard of her parents’ beloved beach house on the island.

7 years ago we filmed our first wedding. Since then we have captured 178 weddings all over the country and the world. What a privilege we have as documentarians to share in these beautiful and sacred spaces with our couples.

Kaleb sent me a short clip from Karla & Joe’s rehearsal dinner and my jaw was on the ground. I knew they had a vibe from the first time we met but PHEW! 🔥 Heat, okay?

We wrestled with how to start this film. In one sense we thought “Sarah & Varun don’t want to remember this process” but at the same time we felt it necessary to acknowledge some of the pain from 2020 but also the beauty and celebration that resulted because of the circumstances. Happy two year anniversary Sarah & Varun! 🥂 Whew! So honored to have journeyed with you these last three years. ♥️

Between growing our family, running a business, being a family, and taking care of our clients (current and new!) this has been THE business season KEJ has seen since year two. We're thrilled to see the light at the end of a long backlog tunnel and we're rising from our editing cave to share this sweet destination wedding weekend at Blackberry Farm. When Kaleb came home from Shelby & Zach's wedding, the very first thing he said about their family was "they treat strangers like friends. They are so kind and welcoming." When Kaleb walked into the hotel room, Shelby's mom Sue reached up and gave him the biggest hug, asked about me, asked about our baby girl Winnie. It's such a beautiful thing to be seen and known. Kaleb and Jordan left feeling so well taken care of and loved. The day goes by in a flash when you're surrounded by such good people.

After a 2 1/2 year engagement and postponement we're so honored to have journeyed these last couple years with Shelby & Zach. Cheers to you two! There are several moments (and beautiful SCENES) we could have placed in this teaser. This next day teaser just scratches the surface! We can't wait to dive in further.

Can we talk about how Zach RUNS to Maia at first sight. 😮‍💨 whew! The man literally can’t wait to get to her. 😍 We’ve been counting down to Maia and Zach’s wedding for about 2 years after a 2020 postponement and it was so worth the wait. As I was reviewing footage I told Maia you can tell her and Zach are best of friends. Like…they are HOMIES! I’m here all day for that type of energy. *swoon* I’m already loving their film.
Special thanks to our dear friend for stepping in LITERALLY at the midnight hour to assist Jordan while we were in the hospital welcoming our baby girl. We seriously couldn’t do this without our incredible community. Also, shoutout to this awesome vendor team:

Hi friends. We’re not dead, just pregnant. 😂 We took a nice social media break and it’s been divine. We’ve spent that time preparing for the Bebé, enjoying the last few weeks of “just the two of us”, adding a few more KEJ couples to our 2022 calendar (which we’re SUPER stoked about) and EDITING because we still like our jobs. *eyyyy* 😆

It's the start of KEJ's Colorado and destination season and we couldn't think of a better couple to kick it off with than Chelsea & Anthony. These two tied the knot this Thursday after postponing their wedding from 2020 and we had the most amazing time celebrating their union with family & friends.

On a personal note, Chels & Ant were the first KEJ couple we told we were pregnant. They were so excited and encouraging to us at a time where we were super anxious and worried about how our life change would effect our business. They brought us an incredible amount of peace and confidence during a time we were really anxious about sharing the news. We are so grateful to them for their continued kindness to us.

Their entire day was just as we expected and more. P.s. If you can't party on a Thursday, don't even callllll us! hahaha. So much more coming from Chelsea & Anthony's amazing day. For now, a teaser!
