An open appeal to Sen.HSD to jettison his senatorial ambition come 2023
Timi Okere spkokesman White House Brotherhood Ekeremor
Our Hon leader, Sen.Henry Sirake we understand how you try as the then Governor of our beautiful state Bayelsa in linking the two sisters local government of which it was one of your duties as a Governor to develop the whole Bayelsa State to a city standard...we understand how you try for the two sisters local government in the area of education and youth empowerment.. that was a good one from you to the Senatorial District...
My leader sir with all what you have done and to make you gain more of my respect as a leader that you are sir, I request you don't go for Senate come 2023. Sir since 1999, the two sister local government areas Ekeremor and Sagbama in Bayelsa State, have been rotating the slots for the senatorial district without hate or bitterness which you are fullyaware leader sir
It was because of the zoning agreement between the two sisters local government that Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri failed to go for the third tenure which he would have won the election at that level but as a democrat and a believer of development in the Senatorial District he has no choice than to withdraw for love to keep existing among the two sisters local government
History has it that, in 1999 Senator Emmanuel Diffa, who hails from Sagbama, was elected to represent the district, and in 2003 when he had issues with party nomination, Senator John Brambaifa, from Sagbama, succeeded him and served until 2007
Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, from Ekeremor, took over and served eight years in the Senate.....we are all aware that in 2015, Senator Lokpobiri attempted to go for a third tenure but advocates of zoning arrangements objected, and left Sen Heineken with no choice.
Senator Foster Ogola from Sagbama replace him, Senator Ogola had issues with the leaders of the party and was replaced by Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo currently our Deputy Governor of our beloved Bayelsa State.
In 2020 when Ewhrudjakpo was elected deputy governor, My Hon. Senator Dickson sir, you contested the bye-election and won the senatorial seat.to continue from where our deputy governor stop sir...
As a good leader that you are for the sake of the two sisters local government sir it will be wise you support the zoning arrangements sir for the love to keep existing let EKEREMOR produce your successor sir
Nua.....
