Dharshana Jayawardena is a pioneering underwater explorer in Sri Lanka. He is the author of Ghosts of the Deep - Diving the shipwrecks of Sri Lanka and the founder of DiveSriLanka.com, the only comprehensive source for information about SCUBA diving in Sri Lanka. He is also an avid underwater photographer, videographer, technical deep diver and a cave diver. To date he has identified the origins of several mystery shipwrecks and discovered Sri Lanka’s first underwater cave system, earning him recognition as one of top 101 Outstanding People in Asia’s Dive industry.
