n, Texas to mother Beverly Harrison and then, after moving to Victoria, Texas, adopted by stepfather Ken Williams and subsequently named Steven James Williams

Excelled in football, baseball, and track
Grew up in Edna, Texas
Graduated 1983 from Edna High School
Attended Wharton County Junior College in Wharton, Texas on a football scholarship in 1984-85

Entered WWF as the Ringmaster with little fanfare and after viewing an HBO program on Richard Kuklinski, the Ice Man, created the persona of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Entering the company as a heel, and then transitioning to a babyface at WrestleMania 13 against Bret Hit Man Hart. As an antihero found great success and many titles and led the charge into what would become known as the Attitude Era. Suffered a major neck injury at Summerslam 1997 after a botched piledriver. Made return to the ring in 2001. Wrestled last match at WrestleMania 19 in Seattle, WA. Had a supporting role in Adam Sandlers The Longest Yard in 2004. Legally changed name to Steve Austin to save a lot of headaches
Starred in The Condemned in 2006. Filmed several independent movies in 2007-current
Inducted into WWE Hall of Fame in 2009
