Students had the opportunity to work and learn from industry partners how to promote awareness for different local agencies and services they provide to Yuma County.

Congratulations to our SLHS CTE Students who will start an internship with the City of San Luis Fire Department. Students will be able to learn specific skills needed to succeed in this field, allowing them to learn from industry exports. We thank the City of San Luis Fire Department for supporting our students and the SLHS Emergency Medical Services program.

SLHS CTE Ambassadors at the 2023 Washington Leadership Training Institute meeting with Senator Krysten Sinema to advocate for Career Technical Education. Students from the Agriculture program had the opportunity to visit the United States Department of Agriculture and promote Arizona's water crisis, food safety, and agriculture needs to our county and state. In addition, students visited the capital and other significant monuments in Washington.
