- I’m disappointed with the way I prepared and in turn performed. The last day I ran out of dry towels on hole 12, causing me to have zero grip for the rest of the round. But that’s on me, and I’ll be better prepared next time.
- Super excited to get out of the rainy (but beautiful) Pacific Northwest and back into some Midwest territory.
- Looking forward to the off week I have while kyle.klein.dg plays in the Match Play Championships. I can let my finger fully heal and be ready for the second half of tour!

2022 Season Recap ✨
I’m pretty sure I’ve grown more in 2022 alone than I have in my whole life. As a disc golfer but most importantly as a person.
To start the year, the entire disc golf life I knew changed completely. All of a sudden I was adjusting to living in a van (absolutely fantastic but has a learning curve), and relearning my game with a brand new set of discs I’d never thrown before.
I felt the off season clock ticking as I scrambled to be comfortable with a new bag in less than a month; the Las Vegas Challenge was right around the corner.
In the first few months of tour, I developed a new level of trust in my discs that I’d never felt before. My play was nowhere where I wanted it to be but somehow I was improving. Oh, and we got a DOG 🐶
The rest of the year felt like a blur, and I don’t have a lot to say to be honest. Went to some really cool places, hung out with great people, and played a lot of golf.
My game’s progression this year showed me that if I keep grinding I can be as good as I want to be. But that won’t come at my current level of work, it’s going to take a new level of dedication and CHANGE that I’m committed to this off season.
Anyway, enough with this sappy stuff, here’s some numbers:

- 25 tournaments
- +20 points on my rating
- 2 DGPT lead cards
- 2 A-Tier lead cards
- 1 Jomez round
