The Two Clicks from KO podcast was started by host Brandon Degaph in July of 2013. After a 6 episode run that featured local players and judges as co-hosts, Brandon took a hiatus from the podcast when his first child was born. Now, in 2014, Brandon is back with the Two Clicks from KO podcast and is joined by a Aaron, a competitive player who has found success traveling and competing in Heroclix to

urnaments both big and small. With Brandon's emphasis on having a good time and Aaron's desire to break the meta, Two Clicks from KO looks to blur the line between "hardcore" and "casual".

Hey there everyone! I was given the privilege of being able to preview the Cyclops Legacy Card for everyone today. Big shout out to Wizkids, this is SUPER exciting for me. This legacy card is tied to the Cyclops that players know best, XXS052 Cyclops.

Let us start first at what has changed from the prior piece. He has lost his Perplex, the free Student ID (lol), the FREE attack on someone that hit an X-Men piece, his Sidestep, and the conditional power from where he was on the map.

He gained a lot in return however! His point values have reduced from 150/50 to 125/40. That alone really helps this Cyclops jump forward in my mind. With Krakoan Revival being a thing, lower point costs are certainly important.

He also gained a fantastic addition to the Leadership he had before. It now grants +2 actions instead of +1. It is also not reliant on success of that Leadership, so he always brings this effect to the table for you. To be noted, he will also be useful on non-theme teams to bring this effect.

He also picked up two additional keywords along the way! He originally only had X-Men, but he now has Utopia and X-Factor in addition!

I also want to note that he “gained” the new Willpower. So, he is able to take tokens off of himself!

The things that did not change are pretty obvious, but his values are the same, and he maintained his Improved Targeting: Destroys Blocking.

Overall, I think that this Cyclops is the best Legacy Card that we have received so far. He will fit nicely into any X-Men team (especially with Uncommon Professor X from Rise and Fall). He needs a Krakoan Revival to come along with him so that his shallow dial isn’t so much of a risk, but that isn’t a big deal.

Once again, a huge thanks to Wizkids for this opportunity! Hopefully it’s the start of a trend :D Let me know in the comments what you think about my take on the figure, as well as your own take, I’m very interested!

Hi Heroclix fans!

Today, we at JSAClix are happy to share our first official preview, thanks to WizKids. We have a Legacy Card from the upcoming X-Men Rise and Fall set to show you. This Legacy Card is a throwback to the Wolverine and the X-Men set from 2013, bringing back the 001 common Wolverine from the beloved set. Let's take a look at what he does after all this time!

Wolverine has 6 different keywords: Alpha Flight, Avengers, Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, Weapon X, X-Force, and X-Men. Wolverine has been in a lot of different teams, so you'll have plenty of options for themed teams! The X-Men keyword works especially well in the context of this set, both for the obvious reason and with the new Professor X. His Recruiting for a Future Threat trait allows you to swap out characters with the X-Men keyword on your force with others from your sideline (as well as Shi'ar and Illuminati).

The standard powers you'll find on Wolverine's dial include Charge, Blades/Claws/Fangs, Toughness, and even Invincible! He doesn't have any special powers, but he does have two traits. The first, I'm The Best At What I Do, demonstrates his fighting prowess with Combat Reflexes. It also gives him the opportunity to make an attack as a FREE action against an opposing character that missed Wolverine with an attack or failed to break away from him. Don't forget that you can use Blades/Claws/Fangs with this free attack!Your opponent is going to have a hard time hitting Wolverine up close thanks to the Combat Reflexes, and even when they do hit, his second trait will make it hard for damage to stick.

The Healing Factor trait gives Wolverine Willpower, which will potentially allow him to keep going turn after turn. Between that and the FREE action attack from the other trait, Wolverine is going to be making many attacks. This trait also allows Wolverine to heal for half the result of a D6 roll at the end of your turn. It's essentially free Regeneration without being tied to a standard power that can be Outwitted.

To put it concisely, this Wolverine is going to get in the fight, make a lot of attacks, and will be difficult to put down.
