I used to be a staunch Republican and I always voted against abortion laws. I thought that it was morally wrong to kill a baby, no matter what the circumstances. However, my views changed when I got someone pregnant and there was no option but to keep the child. I didn't want the child, but I knew that it would be wrong to abort it. I realized that there are many different circumstances that can lead to someone getting pregnant, and not all of them are within the person's control. I also realized that, in many cases, abortion is the best option for the woman and the child. I now believe that abortion should be legal in all cases, and I will be voting accordingly in the future.
