Cape May Court House, New Jersey - Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief Tracey Super of the Middle Township Police Department announce the arrest of Robert Seney, age 36, a resident of West Atlantic Avenue in the Cape May Court House section of Middle Township, NJ.
On June 18, 2025, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force concluded a cooperative investigation into the distribution of controlled dangerous substances by Robert Seney.
On this same date, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force, along with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Middle Township Police Department-Major Crimes Unit and the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team executed Court-authorized search warrants on the residence, and motor vehicle Robert Seney.
As a result of these searches, methamphetamine in an amount less than ½ ounce, various types of drug paraphernalia related to the distribution of CDS and 45ACP caliber ammunition was seized.
Robert Seney was charged with one (1) count of Possession with intent to Distribute CDS, a crime of the 3rd degree; one (1) count of Possession of CDS, a crime of the 3rd degree; one (1) count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia, a crime of the 4th degree; one count of a certain person not to possess ammunition, a crime of the 4th degree; one (1) count of Distribution of CDS within a school zone, a crime of the 3rd degree and one (1) count of Distribution of CDS within 500 feet of a public place, a crime of the 2nd degree. *
Robert Seney was processed and lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Facility pending Court proceedings.
Individuals convicted of second degrees crimes are subject to a term of imprisonment of 5 to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison.
Prosecutor Sutherland stated his office will continue to work hand in hand with Federal and State partners along with the local municipalities to target anyone selling illegal, controlled, dangerous substances as well as the illegal possession of fi****ms.
