After My brain wakes up by 6am.

Deep down I'm convinced I'll open my laptop by 7am to send out mails and complete tasks.

My brain is convinced too.

My body goes into "dey play" mode.

Somehow that dude convinces one part of my front brain.

The other part still keeps hope alive as the time ticks past 7am towards 7:30am.

From the bed I could sc****ly sight my laptop 3 Kilometres away, sitting pretty on my table at the bedroom work station. 3 freaking kilometres. 🤦🏻‍♀

"Quite a distance of walk" my body says in utter laziness.

Then the next 30mins will be dedicated to planning the first lifting from the bed, dropping this stupid phone and heading to the bathroom first; for the culture.

A journey of another 1 hour, before eventually putting the pc on and abandoning it for another 30mins.

Thanks to sleeping by 2 or 3am the previous night. Lol

Oh dear 🤦🏻‍♀

yesss! These are my typical days. Days I wish I hadn't started in the first place.

Days I just want to be Victor, and nothing connected to building anything in tech.

Days I don't want to do it. Days I feel exhausted, however, aware that a world of endless possibilities awaits me.

I have those days, just like you.

And then there's the need to keep showing up every single day.

In all of these, may we see the need to listen to our bodies and prioritise rest.

What is Stupidity?

Stupidity is claiming to not believe in Jesus, yet talk about this "non existent" being even more than the people that do believe in him.

Stupidity is claiming to be irreligious, yet make a case against the "non existent" God and his followers all day.

Stupidity is claiming to be an Atheist, yet craving to have an opinion on everything that concerns Christians.

Because you pursue after signs and wonders, vain prophecies and charisma, over the Gospel of Jesus Christ,

The very gospel of the cross. Of pain and shame, of death and resurrection.

You'll rather buy "Pool of Bethesda" and "Fast lane" product, than sit and listen to the story, teaching the compassion and love that led Jesus to the cross and his finished works there of.

You'll rather be in an atmosphere of "Prophetic Thunderstorm" than listen to the revelation of the Love of the father and the person of the Holy Spirit.

Same spirit that raised Christ from the Dead.

You'll rather see his hands than know his heart.

God hasn't changed.

We just stopped enjoying his presence like we did when we were babes.

The quietness and peace that comes with it.

We stopped craving the goose bumps we feel when men soak in the atmosphere of his presence in deep emotion filled worship and just cry.

With or without musical instruments.

We went out of tune and frequency with his vibrations, we now prefer the wonders that look like the kingdom to the kingdom itself.

We hardly ever read our bibles. We've stopped hearing our lover. We stopped gaining knowledge. Same that has been testified to be same as "power".

So we let falsehood take grip in the "Church". What a shame!

When last did you fellowship alone?

When last did you prefer to stay with Abba and have him envelope you.

We now want God the giver, way more than we want God the Father.

This is why fakery and mockery of the Christian faith thrives.

I keep thinking; The humans who discovered Mars and other planets, what level of curiosity and what level of separation drove them into even attempting to leave our plannet.

How did they start suspecting there were other planets out there?

Who first thought about it. How did he get his mind to believe it and not feel like he was going nuts.

How were they so confident their space travel equipment would make it to space.

How were they so sure there was somewhere or something to land on.

I mean, What level of curiosity and courage drives a man into traveling closer to where the sun shines from (as it looks from here).

There's nothing wrong with you.

We are not greedy or covetous, neither are we "only after material things" as people always misinterprete us to be.

Some of us don't even care about how much we are worth, and so, don't act, dress or behave or have attitude like it.

We just want to be cool, hungry, passionate, to keep challenging our old self, become better than it, hit new milestones and inspire millions of people to do same - against all odds.

I'm saying we and us because you're not alone.

I am like you.

My mind conceives crazy global aspirations, which become desires and obsessions, and most times I get gestures from people that make me judge myself or rethink my ambition.

I get to feel bad for wanting to do better. Crazy! Isn't it?

You must have gotten used to being seen as prideful or arrogant, because you refuse to think or feel small.

These are genuinely how winners move. But the world doesn't know. 😊

The creativity and the innovation speed of the Crypto space is slow. Everybody is basically doing the same thing. It feels boring for me.

Judging from the fuss of 2020 to now, blockchain innovation should have drastically moved from the regular token creation and listing as an end point product.

Everybody basically comes out with a basket full of plans and end up releasing a s**t coin that will die when the fuss dies.

Considering the hype around AXS and some Gamefi projects, you'll expect that by now, we have COD level games in the blockchain.

Still pretty much wacky tacky codes running everywhere.

The only people that have come a little much closer to exciting me with their excellence is the Gamee project on Telegram.

Their games are exciting and engaging.

Just My 2 cents.

I'm now shocked at his accuracy. Though his projection was that Joe will be stepped down during his Leadership for Kamala to emerge.

Have you heard of the tech company's cyber security problem that is putting the world at a scary pause right now?

It's scary how everything literally depends on IT people currently.

Let me gist you! The company is called "Crowd Strike".

So, you might have noticed that the world is a bit of a mess right now.

And I'm not just talking about the usual chaos. No, this time it's a tech update glitch that's causing all sorts of trouble.

It's like a digital storm that's knocking out laptops, grounding planes, and even stopping people from flying!

Apparently, it all started about two days ago when a CrowdStrike update went rogue. Yeah, I know, it sounds like a sci-fi movie plot, but hear me out.

This update is causing Windows to crash and get stuck in a blue screen loop. And we're not just talking about a few isolated incidents - companies all around the world are affected, including Sky News, which can't even broadcast right now!

People are freaking out, and I don't blame them. I mean, who wants to show up to work and find out that their computer is useless? But don't worry, I've got the scoop on what's going on and what you can do to fix it if you're affected..

So, it turns out that the issue is with CrowdStrike's Falcon Sensor product. Yeah, I know, it sounds like a superhero gadget, but it's actually just a cybersecurity tool. And apparently, it's got a bit of a glitch.

But here's the thing - the engineers at CrowdStrike are on it, and they're working hard to fix the problem. In the meantime, there's a workaround that you can try.

There is a workaround.

1. Boot Windows into Safe Mode or WRE.

2. Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike

3. Locate and delete file matching "C-00000291*.sys"

4. Boot normally.

So, if you're one of the unlucky ones who got hit by this glitch, don't panic. Just follow the steps, and you'll be back in business.

And if you're not affected, well, then you're just lucky, I guess!

Either way, it's a wild ride, and I'm here to keep you updated.

When ever I retire from tech, I would love to spend my time reading books, learning to play acoustic guitar, photography and writing romance fiction.

I would also love to travel the world with my best part. We would visit villages in different countries and enjoy diverse culture.

Work was productive today. Though I didn't finish everything in my to-do list.

"After stealing from white people and buying expensive cars, they'll come and be misbehaving and doing anyhow"

This was what a woman who I believe is a non academic staff of Imo State University said while I was driving through the entrance gate of the campus earlier this week for a tech outreach.

I don't want to believe she was a lecturer. She didn't look or sound like it.

She was referring to me. Sadly 😔

Looking into my car with so much scorn and displeasure in her face.

She didn't even know me. She just labeled me.

I was on the verge of going off at her with so much annoyance, as I've promised to tolerate no disrespect or labelling.

On the second hand, I just stared back at her and the middle aged man she was with in a Toyota camry.

I had total respect for them regardless. Though mumbled my reaction gently to let off steam.

Was I pained? Yes! 100%

I had to even seat back in the car for more than 1hour before stepping out to speak to a single student.

It was that bad. I see cyber fraud as stealing and you tagging me same thing I am fighting is like vomiting in my face.

I was literally there to speak to students against it and present tech and digital skills as an alternative.

Only to be met with the demon I came to fight.

My spirit was low.

She didn't know better anyway!

Now it has strengthened my resolve on this cause. We must change the narrative.

I'll be back until I set this ball rolling in many campuses across Africa.

We had our first mid-year staff retreat at DEXA last weekend. A 2 working days retreat.

It was a wholesome experience and one I have always looked forward to.

As someone who started this huge project alone, having a wonderful team at this young stage of our company's growth feels refreshing and promising for what we are yet to do.

We had our team members speak on different important subjects that reflect our mission in the tech education space of Africa,

And I held productivity training sessions, along with our experienced team members.

📌 Here is a brief summary of our staff retreat:

Our staff retreat took place on July 12 and 13, featuring various sessions and presentations.

On Friday, July 12, we began with Introductions, dream sharing, and a review of company progress and future projections by DEXA CEO.

Jeanie, our Cyber Security Programs Director presented on "Emotional intelligence & Stress Management"

Followed by a productivity training on "Building Effective Teams and Leadership" by the CEO.

Anuoluwa, the HR Management Program Director shared a program report from the HR Management Bootcamp, and we concluded the day with a session on bootcamp processes by the CEO.

On Saturday, July 13, Ayooluwa Adesanya, our Product Management Course Director presented a program report on Product Management Program and led a productivity training on "Effective Communication and Collaboration".

Prince Achara, our Project Management Course Director presented on "Servant Leadership", and went on to share a program report from the Project Management programme.

We concluded the retreat with productivity training on "Goal setting and Accountability" by Anuoluwa Kikelomo (HR) and a presentation on "Data-driven decision making" by our CEO, Victor Kelechi Kingsley".

We are super charged to take on the coming months and can't wait to unveil all we have in stock for Africa.

Stop Micro Managing Your Team!

I always pity leaders who run a dictator or one man show kind of leadership.

You'll have sycophants and pretenders around you.

Let's Talk about Corporate Leadership.

If you are a leader who likes to control every aspect of your team's work;

You'll find yourself constantly monitoring their progress, dictating every step, and correcting all of their mistakes.

You might not know the dangers of it, but I'll let you know.

Micromanaging can have serious consequences which includes:

- Decreased productivity
- Low morale
- High turnover rates
- Stifled creativity and innovation

When you micromanage, you're basically telling your team that you don't trust them to do their jobs and in your absence, they'll fail woefully at it.

This is because your team now lacks motivation and engagement, as team members under you will feel their skills and abilities are not valued and will always depend on your approval.

Always allow people fly with their creativity. This is what I practice at DEXA. I supervise our staff but they'll hard report a case of me micro managing or scolding anyone at any little mistake.

I let them fly with their creativity.

It's now about talks and errors, let's discuss how you can stop micromanaging and empower your team to success.

1. Set clear goals and objectives: Establish clear expectations and let your team know what needs to be achieved. Sell your idea to them.

2. Provide necessary resources and support: Give your team the tools and training they need to succeed. Create your abilities in them.

3. Encourage autonomy: Allow team members to take ownership of their work and make decisions. Don't be in their space all the time and stop correcting your team publicly. Please Please and Please.

4. Focus on outcomes, not processes: Concentrate on the end results, rather than dictating how tasks should be performed.

5. Trust and delegate: Have confidence in your team's abilities and delegate tasks accordingly.

6. Encourage open communication: Encourage feedback and create an environment where team members feel comfortable sharing concerns or ideas.

Leadership is about empowering others, not controlling every aspect of their work. Give your team the freedom to shine.
