The Central Springs Community School District has recently hired Grundmeyer Leader Services to support the search for a new district superintendent. The search will begin immediately and conclude with the hire of a new successful leader. Your feedback regarding what desired qualifications are most important for this position will ensure the new hire is a good fit for both the school district and community.

Please share narrative insights and rank personal and professional priorities for the new superintendent. The search team will produce a general report based on the information gathered in this survey. The report will be shared with the board to advise them on what priorities the district and community stakeholders are looking for in a new leader.

This survey is anonymous unless you provide your name voluntarily. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey and provide direction for this important leadership position before Friday, November 15th.

This week's Signal features incorrect information on the program for Grafton's Memorial Day celebration. The corrected information is as follows:

Memorial Day Services will be held at the Grafton Cemetery on Monday, May 27th, beginning at 10 a.m. Participating will be the American Legion Honor Guard and the St. Ansgar Middle School Band. Services will be conducted by Post Commander, Philip Hackbart. This year's guest speaker will be Leon Christianson, a business owner from Lake Mills. Leon has been active in Veterans Affairs for many years, organizing Operation LZ in Forest City, to give Vietnam Veterans a proper "Welcome Home", which many had not received. He has also been instrumental in organizing Honor Flights for Veterans. Special music will be provided by Will Bartz. Brittany Bartz will share Memorial Day tributes. In case of inclement weather, services will be held in the Grafton Community Center. All are welcome to attend this service to honor those who have served our country.
