An eventful afternoon 𝑷𝒖𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔! Yesterday, a successful 𝙈𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙚 𝘼𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 was concluded at the Court of Thanks. With each aspiring leader from the 💙𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐆 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲, 🩷𝐄𝐘𝐘 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲, and 🩵𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 taking the stage to exhibit their potentials and platforms as the future 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 members.

After a thrilling and fulfilling 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓, the students were given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the astounding responses from each of the CCSC aspirants.

𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝟏𝟕 || 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔’ 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆-𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

On August 17, Gr. 12 STEM students, along with faculty members, participated in a dynamic 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 in the auditorium led by the Canossa College of Nursing and the CPR Caravan. 🩺🚑

The training aimed to equip students and faculty with essential CPR, BLS, and BP monitoring skills for health emergencies. 💉

During the session, faculty members had their blood pressure checked while students led hands-on CPR practice, mastering crucial life-saving techniques. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

This initiative empowered both students and teachers to become more health-conscious and ready to respond effectively in emergencies. 💪🫀

Champions were made at the Luzon Interschool Taekwondo Championships on August 10–11, 2024, at Narciso Ramos Sports Complex Gymnasium, Lingayen, Pangasinan. Young Canossian Taekwondoin showcased their skill, determination, and passion in a thrilling display of martial arts excellence.

🏅 Aescby Jaeden E. Anila from Grade 7 St. Scholastica took homegoldd in the Novice Male Category Cadet division.

🥉Julia Isabelle B. De Villa from Grade 8at- St. Padre Pio takes bronze home in the Novice Female division.

🥉Justin B. Matalog from Grade 9 at St. Francis also takes home bronze in the Advance 2 male category junior fin weight division.

Another three medals are home for the alma mater.

Canossa College celebrated its first Holy Spirit Mass presided by Msgr. Jerry Bitoon for the academic year. The mass was celebrated at the Court of Thanks last August 9, 2024.

Students assembled for the Club Fair at the Court of Thanks at exactly 1:40 p.m. The students had a warm introduction from our SAP moderator, Ms. Librada Banayo, who explained the process of selecting their club. Following that, the clubs’ moderators and members presented an introduction to what it's like to be a member of their respective club. Some clubs also entertained the students with performances that made the event lively.

Last Friday, August 2, the students gathered at the Court of Thanks for the general assembly led by the Filipino teachers. Ms. Lourdes Salarda formally started the 𝘽𝙪𝙬𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙞𝙠𝙖 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, assigning tasks to each grade level to be accomplished before the culminating activity. Emcees Kimberly Banaag and Kisha Tanio gave a general introduction to the 𝗖𝗘𝗖 (𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆) to the student body. The admins of the school are introduced first, then the Canossian Sisters, the faculty, the staff, and maintenance.

Canossa College welcomes the Elementary to Senior High School students to S.Y. 2024–2025 with a warm greeting. Students assembled at the Court of Thanks at 7:30 A.M. to be united with their sections. Each class is then brought to their classroom to get to know their Advisers for the academic year.

𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐘 𝟏𝟗 || 𝑪𝑫𝑪 “𝑵𝒐𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒕 𝑵𝒈𝒂𝒚𝒐𝒏”

𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 (𝗖𝗗𝗖) performed a variety of dances on July 19 at St. Hildegard's Auditorium to showcase “𝙉𝙤𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙩 𝙉𝙜𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣”; the difference of the styles of dancing in the past and the present. Their performance consisted of Philippine folk dances and modern dances such as hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary dances which is the fruit of the Summer Dance Workshop.

On June 28, 2024, the 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 (𝗔𝗟𝗣𝗛𝗔) held their ceremonial launch of the 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙨 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 at SM City San Pablo’s Mall Atrium.

The Canossian Newsette Summer Workshop drew to a close yesterday, June 22, 2024. The closing and awarding ceremony took place in the afternoon. The participants were given certificates in appreciation of their active participation in the workshop. The top performers of each category were also recognized. Afterward, the recently graduated Editor-In-Chief, Ms. Princess Rasonable, led the presentation of the new set of Editorial Board members for the school year 2024-2025.

The participants' organization and collaboration skills were put to the test as they were tasked to create a dummy newspaper with four pages. In the afternoon, Mr. Aldrin Quila gave a lecture on newspaper layouts. He also critiqued the output of each group and provided points for improvement.

Jhamaica Gaviño (10 - St. Magdalene of Canossa) serenaded the whole nation earlier today, June 4, 2024, in "Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown." Her angelic voice earned her a spot in the next round of the contest this coming Saturday against other daily winners.

Friday, May 24, 2024, candidates for graduation and moving up attended the Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Mass. Students from grades 6, 10, and 12 gathered at the Court of Thanks to express their heartfelt gratitude to God, their teachers, parents, and fellow candidates through the celebration of the eucharist.

On May 22, 2024, Canossa College San Pablo held it's first 𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙖 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 after many years with the theme "𝗡𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗲': 𝗔 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲" for Grade 10 and Grade 12 students at the Court of Thanks. The performances prepared by selected Grade 10 and Grade 12 students, as well as a live dance floor for students, made the wonderful evening one to remember

On May 17, 2024, class officers from Grades 7-12 gathered at Azcarete Daycare Center to answer the call to service by participating in an outreach program. The activity was initiated by the school directress, Sr. Lina Amante, FdCC. The young leaders prepared various activities for the students which consisted of coloring, storytelling, dance, and worship, making the Lord known to the participants through St. Magdalene. Moreover, the outreach became a platform for the students to develop and share their talents.

Grades 4, 5, and 6 students from the elementary schools of San Lucas Uno, San Lucas Dos, Dolores, San Pedro, and Sta. Catalina received the Sacrament of Holy Communion in St. Luke the Evangelist Parish last May 12, 2024. On May 10, 2024, the State of the Department Address of the Canossa College Student Council took place at the Court of Thanks. The event served as a platform for the Student Council to share their achievements and accomplishments throughout the school year with the student body.

Grade 10 student catechists proceeded with the CCD Gift Giving Program on May 4, 2024, at the following elementary schools: San Lucas 1, San Lucas 2, Dolores, CM Azcarate, and Sta. Catalina. This is one of the final meetings before the First Communion of the voluntary grade 4-6 students.

As the year-long celebration of the 250th birth anniversary of the mother foundress St. Magdalene of Canossa drew to a close, a culmination activity was held in Canossa Academy Lipa City, Batangas. The day-1 of the culmination showcased the passion of the participants for music, poetry, arts, and others. The next day, the participants attended a mass presided over by the Bishop along with the Canossian brothers in Lipa City, Cathedral. Shortly after, there was a motorcade along the route to Canossa Academy and upon arrival, the closing activity was held with several performances.

This 2-day event reunited each Canossian delegation across the country to commemorate St. Magdalene of Canossa's life of faith, inspiring all modern Canossians to continue the mission for her beloved poor.
