1 Year Sober From Alcohol Today.😮‍💨I made it 🥹 Yah is Great all the time.🪬🙌🏾 March 13th, 2022 was the last time I put Alcohol in my body. This bottle was the last thing I drank. I made a promise to myself that I’d pour out the rest on my 1 year anniversary. 🥳 This by far has been the most rewarding voyage that I’ve ever embarked on. Since a child I struggled with depression. This taught me discipline that I didn’t have before. It made me confront my traumas & deal with them. ‼️It challenged me to take self accountability & as months went by, I literally felt the dark clouds that circled my head finally leave. 🙏🏾Everything I was harboring I finally dealt with instead of drinking & druggin it away. 🧘🏾‍♂️ This is your sign to chase your sobriety & change your life around. Use me as motivation, the black sheep, the kid that nobody ever thought would stop partying. 💯 Love all of yaw who supported me along the way. 365 SOBER days & counting…….. 🍷🥂🍻🥃🍸🍺🚫

Yesterday made 11 months for me being sober from alcohol. 🥹Today I’m 339 days clean from liquor. Thank Yah 🙏🏾🪬 1 more month & I’ve made it to my goal for being sober a year straight. 🤞🏾My life’s changed for the better since giving up that horrible habit & staying disciplined. I take pride in being offered wine while out🍷 & not thinking twice about asking for a Water 💧 with lemon in response. 🍋😌 This is your sign to take control of your life. Waited 18 years for this. My pops left when I was in 6th grade for very necessary reasons. For awhile I found myself resenting him because I felt as a child that I shouldn’t have had to uproot my life & Pick living in Alabama over being with my mom. I felt that it wasn’t fair & that he chose to leave other than stay with me. He was always there in spirit though, guiding me with knowledge. Always in my ear making sure I didn’t make the same mistakes that he did. The older I got I started to look at my parents as individuals & realized that they had dreams, aspirations, traumas & were their own people before I entered this world. I had to understand that life doesn’t come with a manual on how to do it & that this was there first time on this planet as mine. Everything is trial & error. I don’t fault my parents anymore. I’m at peace. ☮️☯️🪬We never lost our relationship but here’s to growing it stronger than ever before. You are the reason I am so musically inclined. You are the reason I’m a musician. 🎶 We’ve always bonded over our love for artistry. You are one of my biggest inspirations without even knowing it. Seeing you today made who I am today make so much sense. LOVE YOU OLD MAN. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. 🥲❤️♒️👨‍👦
