Stupid Happy Collective & 707 present: The Dubplate Tour. Artist Spotlight #1: Libr8

Hailing from the eastern parts of Montana and spending the bulk of his adult life here in the Black Hills, Michael aka Libr8 found himself a passion for electronic music at a young age. Pair that with the boredom of being stuck at home during the early days of the pandemic in 2020, and Michael quickly found himself learning the ropes of DJing. In November of 2020, Michael played his first gig, a Thanksgiving weekend event with Stupid Happy Collective. Michael's sound has grown increasingly diverse over the last 4 years, allowing him to seamlessly blend genres throughout his time slot on stage. Some notable appearances include Prairie Pothole Music Festival in 2021, 2022, and 2023 with his other project with Demigod, known as OVRPWRD, as well as opening for GLTY at Your Mom’s House in Denver, CO in June of 2023. Once in a while, outside of the world of music, you can find Michael relaxing after a long day of work playing video games, or exploring the Black Hills.
