Son Gohan is the main character in "Dragon Ball" written by Akira Toriyama, and is also the eldest son of the protagonist Son Goku. He has great potential, but his personality is not as aggressive as his father's. He studied diligently under the guidance of his mother Qiqi since he was a child, and his dream is to become a scholar when he grows up. He has a kind and brave personality and doesn't like fighting very much, but he can exert great power when angry. As a child, he shouldered the important task of defeating the Saiyans and protecting the earth. He was forced to leave his family when he was only 4 years old, and practiced martial arts with Piccolo in the wilderness, establishing a deep relationship with him. Later, he went to Namek to fight with the universe emperor Frizza. In a state of anger, he beat Frizza until he was unable to fight back, forcing Frizza to complete his final transformation. When the robots attacked, he went to the spiritual time room with Goku to train. In extreme anger, he turned into Super Saiyan 2 and defeated the ultimate robot Cell, surpassing his father. Seven years later, in the battle with Majin Buu, he was awakened to his full potential by the old Kaioshin, and became one of the strongest single warriors. After Majin Buu was defeated, he married his high school classmate Videl and concentrated on his studies and lived a peaceful life. Ten years later, he became a famous scholar as he wished and had a daughter, Xiaofang. Akira Toriyama once wanted him to replace his father as the protagonist, but he failed because Sun Wukong was too deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. In addition, Gohan's name comes from the Earthling Sun Wuhan who adopted his father Goku.
