Thanks everyone for your patience here! We ran into an issue with the LTD covers that delayed things but...

Shout to everyone who has supported this 3rd series! It feels like it took forever, what with Cov then we opened up a record store and then had kids on top of it. But here we are 🙏🏽

HR-020 Black Wax 🔥🗿

For HR-020, Altered Tapes (Chicago) and Platurn (Bay Area) offer a double dose of Marvin from his classic blaxploitation soundtrack. Already a b-boy classic in its original form, Altered Tapes decided to turn it up the b-boy dial even more with a flip centered around a heavy drum break for Side A. While over on Side B, Platurn offers us an extended, DJ-friendly, stemmed-out version that holds more true to Marvin's take while also adding all the flavor we wish the OG had! Both guaranteed to make you bounce.

The artwork for this series was designed by the talented of BRLSQ. The limited edition 45s include custom cover art and colored vinyl. (A black wax version with a different label color scheme will be available 9/17/2024).

HR-019 w/ is officially out in the world! Many thanks to everyone who copped pre-orders from us (we shipped early fyi) or via anywhere else. We're looking forward to hearing how y'all work these into your sets!

After this release, we're taking a short break but have 2 more donuts on deck before the end of the year. Featuring brand new tracks by 😲

HR-019 Black Wax Is Here! 🔥🗿

Many thanks to everyone who picked up a copy of the Limited Editions (just a handful remain!), the Black Wax version pre-orders are open now via our website and Bandcamp. Shipping 7/29.

A quick note for those who've asked to get their digital files earlier, we hear you loud and clear! We are currently figuring out a solution outside of Bandcamp.

Also, for those who want their LTDs sooner, beginning with HR-020 we will ship on the Monday immediately following the pre-orders launch.

Our next 45rpm release is making its way into the World! Beginning this Saturday 6/1 @ 12pm CST, the Limited Edition versions of HR-018 ("Tribe Vibes") will be available for pre-order. Shipping 6/17.

Featuring flaming hot flips of a couple ATCQ favorites by x x . Uptempo and dancefloor-friendly with extended intros and outros for maximum mixability. Peep bio link for soundclips and additional info.

Tribe Vibes ⚡🎵

Next up! For HR-018, (Chicago, USA), (Bay Area), and (Austin TX) voltron-up for two sides of pure b-boy heat! Side A boasts an uptempo flip of a Q-Tip classic with loads of strings, and Side B is where Boombaptist claims his spot among the Scenario remix canon. Big 'ol drum all over this piece with DJ-friendly intros/ outros.
