Stumbled upon this clip from Sal Di Stefano and it really stuck with me. Whether you're just starting flight school, or building experience for the next step in your career, appreciate the journey. Even on days of self doubt, you'll look back and be shocked at the things you were able to accomplish. Keep moving forward
Point of view of what an average commute to New York looks like... lots of traffic haha. But let's face it, there's beauty in the everyday. I usually allot myself 4hrs to comfortably give myself enough time to drive to New York from Philadelphia. This includes time for a few things potential time to get gas-an hour for unanticipated traffic (on top of expected)- Time from the LGA/JFK parking lot to the airport by bus-Random security-Coffee break (most crucial)Though not ideal, this is usually the time where I get in the mindset to start a trip. This is also when I listen to many of my podcasts by the likes of Andrew Huberman, Peter Attia, Joe Rogan, or just vibina to some deen chill tracks.(Tritonia orGrono Therapy by Above & Beyond). Either way, I've learned to really enjoy this time of just being.1 found this viral sound on Instagram and it resonated because there is something beautiful about slowly approaching New York City, especially during a sunrise. Blessed to call this job my career, and loving every step that comes with it. Maybe subtract the tolls... those are killerFind beauty in the everyday.

Felt great getting back in the swing of things after vacation. LGA-DFW-SLC-DEN was quite the long day but rewarding because I got to see a good buddy of mine and even go to an MLS game. After a long day like this, my normal habit would be to order Ubereats and hermit in my room until report the next day. But getting out and moving was definitely the right move. Especially considering I pretty much sat in the flight deck all day. Not always easy... so we're taking it a day at a time, trying to form strong, healthy habits. Wishing you all the best!
We all experience failure in our lives. The type of failure isn't what matters, but what we do in the face of adversity.00So here'sI wanted to share my story of failure because like me, many of you: failed a checkride, didn't get that job/promotion, didn't make your sports team, etc...It was this failure that really made me appreciate the journey so much more once I finally achieved my lifelong dream. Granted, I was stressed, vulnerable, and anxious about what my next move was going to be. But looking back at my experience, I can't help but smile about how it all turned out.Life is a journey, we're all going to fail now and time again. But it's how we face our failures is what determines who we are. You're worth everything you set your energy into.If you've made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read this. It wasn't always easy, but life is pretty great. We're all gonna make it. We're gonna be alright ❤️
Time to pass aside my insecurities and really put myself out there. Today I'm starting what I'm calling the "Move Everyday Project". And the premise is simple, find a way to move everyday. It can be as simple as a walk. But this is really the only way I can hold myself accountable to grow as a healthy human the more I age.Looking forward to what's to come! Keep Moving#MoveEverydayProject
