Ever spend a quiet moment with your own thoughts and really analyse your own purpose? Not in a depressing, dark state of mind, but more engulfed in your reasons for being here other than being a part of your friends, family, and partner’s lives? We all have a purpose but if you resist the challenges that life has for you and spend everyday submerged in your family, partner, work or the day-to-day

grind how you suppose to ever look for your spirit and bring it to life? This page is all about taking on challenges, taking a step back from the day-to-day life and seeking to squeeze every last drop of excitement from what is presented or just out there for us all. How good would it be to drop all responsibilities, stop worrying about bills, going to work, maintain the ‘status quo’? The reality is that we all need to seek challenges that can be integrated in our life! Work is 8/10 hours per day and to focus your energy into something meaningful and soul enriching can be a challenge in itself. A ski accident last year resulted in spending days and days on a push bike, daily spin classes and a eventual ability to click in and out of the pedals without falling over (funny seeing others, but not so funny when you destroy your knee at traffic lights). After spending time with a swim coach and getting over the fear of completing a front crawl I am now ready to bring it all to the next level and swim in open water! Lets start with lakes and hopefully we will have another challenge of tackling the shark infested waters of Australia! Yes a Half Iron man! This is not a challenge to climb Mount Everest or something extreme like that! This challenge is to ignite our souls; look for purpose and give back to the life you have been given. Your challenge might be a 5k in two months, or losing 10kilos as it is all relevant and the main thing we all need to do is not let our soul die!!!! You want to join me? Every week I will post my training schedule, provide my diary on the how it is going in a very honest way that will show you all that the ability to dust yourself off after a fall is your proudest moment! Never be afraid to fall as getting back up is the fertilizer for your growth! See what pain I go through, what fuel I experiment with and the balancing act of having a good active life with a full on training schedule. I will always see the funny side of it all and I hope you all enjoy the updates!
