HELLO WORLD
HELLO WORLD is a collage of weirdos, oddballs, and mashuganas who found each other (for the most part) at the Los Angeles Film School, where they felt for maybe the first time that what they had to say was heard, and what’s more, mattered, had worth; they proceeded to create, on their own and together, leaning into this new mishpocheh of artists for support and inspiration.
They recognize that this origin story (i.e. the scruffy group of artistic outcasts who find acceptance in each other and the courage to create for a world that initially rejected but ultimately needed them) is something of a cliche, and they embrace, even celebrate this fact - after all, it could only become a cliche in the first place because everyone feels so alone, and no one is. HELLO WORLD is ultimately about reminding people (including those in the group itself) that they are not alone; that they do not have to hide, feel unwanted, censor themselves, reshape their souls to be palatable to an idea of the “public mind” that might not even exist. All thoughts deserve to be voiced, interrogated, made sense of, aired out.
