We are particularly happy to see Mike's album Open Fire nominated, something we spoke about in early conversations with Mike as a dream milestone for this beautiful, haunting album of his. We know he'd be stoked to be in such fine company. Best of luck to all the nominees!

On Friday 4th March Part Time Records will release EWAH & The Vision of Paradise’s second album The Warning Birds.

Hailing from Tasmania, EWAH & The Vision of Paradise’s moody sound has been described as “epic post punk with a scope as wide as the Australian skyline.”

The Warning Birds is an exploration in the meaning of paradise that, across its twelve tracks, manages to feel both grim and uplifting in equal measure; something of a treatise on a world in crisis, the album searches for paradise, starting from a hellish post-apocalyptic world.

Lead single ‘Hole in the Sky’ is out now and you can pre-order your vinyl copy of The Warning Birds on our website, Bandcamp and your local record retailer.

Mike's album Open Fire will be launched on Friday 8 October at the Hobart Brewing Co.

The event will be a listening party with Open Fire being played in full accompanied by visuals created by Justin Ridler, Ursula Woods and Brad Harris. The footage depicts dreamscape images of some of Mike's favourite places in Tasmania.

Following the album listening there will be live performances of Mike's music by:

Tickets are limited due to COVID so you'll need to be quick, and can be purchased via the Hobart Brewing Co website:

We will also be live streaming the event for those that can't be here in Tassie. More details on the live streaming to follow.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to grab a brew, set themselves up in the beer garden and listen to the event for free / hear the album in full for the first time and to celebrate Mike of course. Think of it as the memorial we never got to have for him last year.

Welcoming Jac Marshall to PTR Singles Club, with his debut single 'Blinding Grace'.

This brooding indie folk song wouldn't be out of place amongst names like Jack Ladder, Marlon Williams and Roland S Howard, who Jac cites as an influence.
