Took this proper family wagon for a fuel up after completing 1072 kms in a full tank, which included 860 km road trip from Delhi to Shimla and back. What an epic experience the Innova Hycross on the whole.
The air conditioning is solid, the ling distance comfort is top grade and the ergonomics are far superior than any car falling under ₹50 lakh. Toyota has properly spoiled me with the 'Peace of Mind' that shoves down its user's throat which no other manufacturer can match.
There are many things good and not so good about it. I'll elaborate about it in our full review coming soon.

The 15 Year Car Scrappage Policy is a move to generate more employment and create larger wealth for big corporations to function. Car scrappage has to be optional and not mandatory in a country where it is the second most expensive thing someone buys.
Should the government take back their 15 year vehicle scrappage policy for personal cars across the country?

Been a few months since I drove the Jeep Meridian Overland which indeed is the most well packaged Meridian that is available in India. The shade of deep green and brown interior combination makes this American SUV look properly english. There is Suede in the interior panels and dashboard trim which makes it look and feel even more premium from the inside.
All Jeep needs to do is to slap the 2.0 L T GME petrol motor with 268 bhp from the Grand Cherokee into this watch it fly out of the showrooms in good volumes.
The diesels are a dying breed and cannot afford to be slow in a market that's rapidly changing.
Jeep's product and after sales service quality is fantastic and a lot of owner's vouch for it. But the products need to update rapidly to cater to the ever growing demands of the consumers.
What do you think about the Jeep Meridian? Let us know in the comments.

The all new Wrangler Rubicon is the same recipe but polished to perfection. This is still one of the greatest S.U.V. that you can buy in India or anywhere else in the world.
You want to trail through the desert, no problem.
A casual overlanding to see the sunrise through the snow infested mountains, easy!
Wade through the waterlogged streets of Green Park, New Delhi? It won't be the titanic that'll sink.
It now gets ADAS to save you from people suddenly jumping in front of your car with auto emergency braking and it'll also stay in queue behind the traffic while cruising on the highway.
A full fat review of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is LIVE on our Youtube Channel. Go watch!

Till how long will the management at be at their honeymoon period. Surviving only a single product (i.e. Magnite) for about 3 years now Nissan isn't innovating at all. Not that the Magnite is bad, even by 2024 standards it is fantastic. It can kill the new Maruti Suzuki Swift and some other cars at the same price with grace.
The X-Trail has been showcased tens of times at different events in India, but Nissan's management here fails to understand the market I guess.
Their after sales service is fantastic! One of the best in quality, service turnover around time and spare availability, but what's the use where there are no new products.
Launch it!!! And see it fly off the showrooms.

The Tourbillon is the greatest Design study of modern day. The intricacies in design and detail is at its peak in this latest iteration from Molsheim, France.
Powered by an all new 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 engine, engineered with the help of Cosworth, paired with a front e-Axle with two electric motors and one electric motor mounted at the rear axle. In total, the Tourbillon produces 1,800 hp with 1,000 from the combustion engine itself and 800 hp from the electric motors. The numbers are staggering.
The Tourbillon is designed around entirely new chassis and body structure. The structure is made from T800 carbon composite, which incorporates a number of weight saving innovations as Bugatti says, such as integrating the battery as a structural part of the monocoque and an unprecedented crash composite rear diffuser, inspired by top level motorsport. The front composite airducts that flow through the front of the car are also integral to the structure, ensuring that each and every part of the rigid, lightweight structure is optimized. For example, the front and rear frames exhibit low pressure thin wall aluminum casting and 3D printed structural braces, contributing to a structure that is significantly lighter and stiffer than its predecessor!

The BMW F30 was an emotion, it was a glorious piece of engineering and aesthetics. Even in today's time it looks timeless and well thought of as a design study.
We did a roadtrip down to Mumbai from New Delhi in the 320d, driving through Rajasthan, Gujarat and ending up in Maharashtra barely using 1.5 tanks of fuel.
A properly comfortable yet frugal roadtrip.

BMW's much popular Sports Activity Vehicle, the X3 has gone through a major change and the new 2025 looks bolder, better and stronger than before.
India bound BMW X3's new design language is significantly more impressive than the X3s of yesteryears. It has always been a simplicity enthusiast's favourite but in the new 2025 avatar that is about to change.
Sharp lines, beautiful design details and futuristic looks lighting elements make it very similar to the BMW XM in the design language.
The interior too is heavily redesigned and looks much fresher for the new generation of competition standing against the BMWX3. Which mechanical configuration will be launched in India, only time will tell, but we are much excited about the M50 xDrive which will get the inline-6 and a 48V Mild Hybrid system combined pushing out 393 bhp and 580 Nm.

Notes from the Heart.
Been 400 days since the day I first drove the Lexus ES300h and honestly speaking I haven't found a better, more value for money, more efficient and more reliable luxury sedan in India. It is getting slightly old though, but the timeless design feels fresh even by 2024 standards.
The paint quality is beautiful, the fit and finish gives me a high and the quality of everything inside is impeccable. The Mark Levinson sound system too is or****ic to say the least and the smoothness with which this car functions everyday is something to spread a word about everyday and with everyone you meet.
I have annoyed my friends and family about how well engineered the ES300h is and how I still end up loving it to the core of my heart.
It will be a tough fight for a lot of cars to get me out of loving this beautiful Japanese marvel.

I gave 7 precious days of my life to this sport. MotoGP Bharat had us all on our toes, it was the most exciting and the most thrilling weekend for auto enthusiasts from across the country and abroad. New track, new weather conditions and a whole lot of drama to deal with.
But behind the scenes, the situation was grim.
I started documenting all the things I experienced as a Race Official for FIM & MotoGP, but never had the courage to share anything.
This article could get me into a lot of trouble with some very big corporations. I am just an enthusiast, who wants the Motorsports management to be clean and properly managed in India.
Releasing on 8th June, at 8pm.

We always thought, how can an SAIC born 6/7 seater SUV be any good? The Gloster always left us questioning about its credibility, until we drove it for 1,500 kms to understand how underrated this car is.
The 2.0 L twin-turbo SC20M diesel engine, developed by General Motors for use in the Gloster produces 218 bhp and 480 Nms. Which might sound good on paper but it takes a lot of effort to pull the 2.5 tonne mammoth.
It isn't a very loud or rough engine either, it is refined, mated properly with an 8-speed torque converter gearbox which is smooth too.
What takes away the cake is the space inside the cabin. IT IS MASSIVE! We recently tried filling the car with 9 adult passengers and it wasn't a very difficult situation in terms of comfort.
With 6 people abreast, in our 6 seater version, the comfort level is supreme. There is great amount of space and amenities for all the passengers is paramount in this price point. It out-does comfort of the Toyota Fortuner and the Jeep Meridian who are playing in the same price.
As much as the Toyota Fortuner is undisputed when it comes to reliability and running costs, our Gloster with 51,000 kms on the ODO meter has no rattles, no squeaks and no malfunctioning electronics whatsoever-so-ever, which speaks volumes about the overall robustness of the package and solid fit and finish of the car.
We might debate of this SUV being of chinese origin and hypothetically not as hood as the rivals, but as a critic, even we were blown away by the capabilities of the Gloster.
Further, this isn't a hardcore off-roader like the Toyota Fortuner either. The 4x4 Savvy variant that we have is equipped with a potent 4WD system but it is best suited for rough roading situation or when it gets slippery and not rock crawling or outright steep incline entourage. MG's focus is clear!

802 bhp and 1,430 Nm figures via a 4.0 L Bi-Turbo V8 engine mated to a 140kW motor sourcing extra power from a 13.1 kwH battery pack.
This is 2.6 tonnes of engineering excellence. Yea, we know it's heavy, but it does sprint to 100 kmph from 0 in 3.3 seconds and goes upto a limited top speed of 250 kmph.
Gets all the bells and whistles of an S-class, gets properly trimmed in AMG suit and those optional alloy wheels look phenomenal.
Priced at ₹3.3 crores (ex-showroom) it is sitting at the on-road price of the W222 S63 coupe. But with so much tech on-board a hypercar performance figures, it looks like a great bargain.
What do you think about it? Let us know in the s.

Creativity maketh man. He is a pristine example how one can turn a decade and a half old Mercedes Benz R230 SL 500 in something from the future and make it legally run on the streets.
Meet , he converted this SL into the Vision Mercedes Maybach 6 cabriolet. This example is also painted in the beautiful shade of Nautic Blue.

Getting closer to 3 years ever since Mahindra launched the XUV700. It is a car that democratised luxury to a wider set of consumers.
It still is one of the most loaded, well engineered and well designed family cars in India, which was also conceptualised and manufactured here. The foreign markets have been profoundly talking about it and people genuinely loved it and keep doing so.
Also one of the top choices when it comes to safety standards.
Ofcourse, everything pretty comes with a set of hiccups and this wasn't behind with a few, but Mahindra was quick to resolve the issue with existing cars and cars in production, bringing back their engineering and packaging prowess back on the road.
Still one of our favourite cars indeed!

There is no doubt Tata cars are safe, they are built with the stiffest of materials and can crash through a building without scratching its occupants, I wish Boeing learnt a bit from them. The Nexon.EV is the most popular EV in India and it tops the game in terms of their creature comforts even with the current generation.
Tata designs their car really well, and it is no different in this new generation. Properly muscular from every angle, sharp lines with creases that'll shy the person who has been ironing your clothes for decades.
But there are a few things which are making us question its popularity. Long term reliability is one, which Tata is working on I am sure, ergonomics are another.
I'm surrounded with Gen-Z which spends more time at Starbucks than at Temples, where's the damn cupholder??? 🥤
A full fat review coming up!
Put down your questions and we'll give honest answers about the Nexon.EV.evofficial

A-Fluence. That's what's missing in cars today. With the demand of SUVs more than alcohol in the market, the sedan are slowly dying and have diminished below the 50 lakh price tag at large. The Corolla, Jetta, Octavia segment is dead and gone.
The Renault Fluence was launched at the wrong time to the wrong audience, if it were launched today, it would have made so much sense. Perhaps with a 1.5 L turbo petrol motor, a CVT gearbox or even a strong hybrid system. This car was the peak of comfort in its time.
What do you think about the Renault Fluence?
