Ice Sculptures | Christmas Caroling | Hot Chocolate | Holiday Treats and Specials

Greektown comes alive for the holiday season with 14 ice carvings throughout the neighborhood along Monroe Street! Please join us on Saturday, December 9 from 2 to 8 p.m. to join in the festive holiday merriment!

Live ice carvings, Christmas caroling, hot chocolate, holiday cookies, festive drink and food specials in our many restaurants and bars. Live ice carvings from 2 to 6 p.m. Live children’s Christmas caroling from 5 to 6 p.m. along Monroe Street and in businesses from our Detroit Metro Greek schools. Kales Yortes!

Just one more sleep 'til the biggest night of the year downtown - Lagniappe & The Big, Bright Light Show! We will be closing Main Street from Second to University, beginning at 5:30 pm, so please plan accordingly! Everything kicks off at the Main Stage at Fourth Street at 6:00 pm and continues until we flip the switch on the lights at 7:00 pm (along with FIREWORKS)! See you downtown!
