Professionally dubbed cassette tape, housed in a Risograph printed enclosure with colour variants: Goa Green, Canary Yello, and Pale Rose + a newsprint insert, contained in a heavy 4 mil protective pouch. Ferrari red tape shells with printed Gold labels. Limited edition of 50.

If you would like a specific colour just ask...if not wait for a surprise.

A consise collection of failed advertising jingles meant to titillate, dilate, and underwhelm the senses, occupying the sonic space of Attic Tape era Cabs and Alain Neffe’s Insane Music with the satirical eccentricity of The Residents. The things Dadaist nightmares are made of.

Rental Snakes is the Miami-based project of brothers Louis Diaz and Pablo Arrangoiz. They are not Cuban. The Snakes have already received some NTS airplay thanks to that kind bloke Nathan Gregory Wilkins of Channeling fame.

Robert Eggplant - Empty Campground (NA058)

Professionally dubbed cassette tape, housed in a Risograph printed enclosure + a newsprint insert, contained in a heavy 4 mil protective pouch. Sky blue tape shells with transparent print. Limited edition of 50.

Take a seat in this dampened Earth. A vast expanse buried deep in the mountainous forest of the U.S., where you’re sat around a campfire taking in the timbres of a smeared Americana from an exhumed acoustic guitar, accompanied by vibrations of the plants and creatures that inhabit the landscape.

Robert Eggplant is the solo project of Boise, Idaho resident Luke Hayhurst: an environmental advocate, sound collector, and avid hiker, with a brilliant release on NL-based label Shimmering Moods.

The tracks on this cassette are a reaction towards cognitive dissonance, excessive waste, and exploitation of the natural beauty of our resources. Re-constructed acoustic guitar improvs spliced with field recording, and an overall atmosphere Roy Montgomery would be quite proud of. It’s a study on the gradation of camping experiences, and the level in which we remove ourselves from urban comforts and experience nature and its surroundings.

Empty Campground is a psychedelic journey deep within the outskirts of the Heartland, aspiring for harmony in the wilderness.

Join us Wednesday, July 12 at Homework gallery for Hearing Protection, an improvised, intermedia sound performance utilizing audio and video to interact with the surrounding space. Live video projection, electronically manipulated found sound objects and bass tones will guide the soundscape into an immersive audiovisual constellation, leaving us to meditate on our slightly shifting loop of life. Hearing Protection is suggested.

And back by unpopular demand, come early to experience The Weeping Willow pop-up bar. A strangely isolated place to get lost in the looking glass.

Hearing Protection is an improvised, intermedia sound performance utilizing audio and video to interact with the space.

presidiomodelo - Funeral, housed in a hand-printed, Earth-stained enclosure, with no graphic elements or insert save for a chord-strung toe tag, is the sound of dissolution. Big one incoming: Pre-orders for Little Annie meets Night Foundation - Inertia 7” are alive today! Available in a limited art edition of 13, and standard edition of 300.

A multidisciplinary artist, and avant-garde icon in her own right, Little Annie leaves little room for an introduction that is worthy of her prolific career. She has remained relevant for over four decades through her innate spirit of experimentation and the multiplicity of her genre-bending collaborations with artists from all over the world.

For this release, Noir Age is proud to present a 7” single of new material from Little Annie in collaboration with Miami-based producer and label owner Richard Vergez, recording here under the moniker of Night Foundation. Annie and Richard met back in 2016 after a gig at the ICA in Miami through their mutual friend—Drew McDowall of Coil. Sharing a requited spirit for art and music, they became fast friends and began collaborating, conjuring what you hear on this release: Inertia.

The 7” lathe cut edition of Foreseer by Reeve Schumacher is released today! Please join us tonight to celebrate its release at Flowerbox Projects in Miami.

"Foreseer" is the first released material showcasing Reeve’s experimental approach to what he calls “Sonic Braille,” a project that straddles art and music; the sound construction is hand made by incising mathematical patterns onto vinyl records with a scalpel to create rhythmic sonic events once manipulated.

With the loop of life at its core, Foreseer, along with its titular track on side A, features a series of locked grooves on the B-side of the lathe record allowing the listener to further develop or deconstruct the sonic debris contained in the grooves of the lathe. A hopeful look forward into the future of what “music” can be in the hands of our people.

::Please Note:: Each lathe record is individually cut by hand by allowing for sonic fluctuation between each disk. Consider adjusting the weight on your turntable tone arm to get the best results within the locked grooves. Music is a forever experiment in tactile consumption.

Serpentine, the newest entry by Welsh musician Gafael for the Noir Age catalogue, is available for pre-order today via the N/A bandcamp.

Less rhythmic, with a focus on suspended, cinematic motifs and pre-recorded environmental detail that paint sonically throughout the space, instilling various emotions. Each track represents a moment or stage within the modern dancer Louis Fuller’s life, commencing with her arrival in Paris in 1892.

Za Za is the materialization of the third mind of Night Foundation and doris dana, a project that serendipitously happened following their performance at Edge Zones in Miami during the summer of 2022. Deeply rooted in improvisations that have resulted in primitive, industrial, and atmospheric compositions, Za Za is the unspoken communication between the two artists. Where one ends the other begins, in the manner of an exquisite co**se, it is a world of multiplicity, all of which exist in relationship with each other.

Noir Age is pleased to present a new release by Welsh sound artist Gafael, his third entry thus far for the Noir Age catalogue. Here we see him veering from his well-worn paths in the surrounding landscapes of Gwynedd and Anglesey towards something less self-referential and more inspiration driven: the late 1800’s modern dance pioneer, Loie Fuller. Informed by her fluid, sinuous movements, the tracks on Serpentine attempt to capture the elegance and simple beauty of the serpentine dance and its dancer.

A rich, introspective journey towards the deep zone of repentance. The newest effort by Russian artist Geklaper is a broken, tape flutter-stained affair, retaining some moments of hopefulness but overall a downcast contemplation on sonic morality influenced by Albert Camus’ “La Chute.”

Thought forms inhabiting sentimental atmospheres, all culled from the world of Colombian-born, Earth-based artist doris dana. Her wise choices for shaping sound draw on meditation with a clear focus on absolute music. Non-representational soundscapes conveying characters of thought. Disjointed voices and environmental chatter suggest a life form presence, all circumfluent in a cinematic fog of distant, arenaceous electronics. We are forever content with the unresolved tension.
