Next stop on the Diddy Wah musical roadshow is the ever-blissful Red Rooster Festival in the sunny Suffolk countryside.

Red Rooster is set in the stunningly landscaped grounds of Euston Hall, home to the 12th Duke of Grafton, who hosts the party. It's the perfect blend of all that's great about downhome Americana culture and a traditional English country fair. Super family-friendly without being aimed specifically at little ones, with fire pits, open water swimming, and axe throwing to foster the spirit of adventure.

There's always plenty of music to experience, from big international faves, to new discoveries and local legends. The sounds start around noon and continue well into the early hours with DJs in the sweaty Howlin' Woods tent.

This year, I'll be spinning records between bands and afterwards on the Main Stage on Friday, 31st May - hope to see you there!

We spoke about his early love of Northern Soul and how his dedication to sniffing out new sounds took him to being voted the top Northern DJ in the country two years running. Keb explained how he invented deep funk and became big in Japan, and we chatted about his memoirs and a documentary that’s being made about him. Plus, he played some killer ‘60s garage punk 45s.
