Voice of Darfur To understand the volatile situation in Darfur, we must analyze the socio-political situation of the province in the past and in the present.

Voice of Darfur is a blog that aims to be the voice of ordinary Darfurians who want the nightmarish reign of militancy to end, and their dream of a happy, peaceful and prosperous Darfur to come true. Darfur, a province located in the westof Sudan, has been suffering from a civil war which culminated in a bloody conflict in 2003, resulting in the death of hundreds of thousands of innocent souls and

displacedthousands of people, despite calls for the province to gain their independence from Sudan. This blog aims to be the eyes, ears and voice of these Darfurians. So, go ahead and read. But be prepared to listen with an open mind and an open heart.
