Friends! It’s been TOO long! Kate and I have some ✨SUPER EXCITING NEWS✨ to bring to you! We’ve been dying to get back into the throws of chatting music. While we feel that covering Pearl Jam was some of the BEST times in the world, we feel ready to step out and explore even MORE! We also know our schedules, and that sitting down to record, edit, and publish podcasts simply don’t fit our lifestyles anymore. So we thought about it—how can we do something new and fun together still centered on music, but eliminate the need for an editor in our videos? Well…we’ve got the solution and we’re ready to share!

Two Turntables and a Microphone will be a podcast where Kate and I cover a totally random album each month and discuss our thoughts and opinions on it! One of us may know the album well, both of us may, or it could be TOTALLY new to our ears! We’ll be utilizing YouTube to LIVE STREAM these episodes on the last Monday of every month!

A year ago today, this album took us all by storm. The prophetic lyrics licked the fresh wounds of our new found, terrifying reality. One of their most collaborative projects to date, Gigaton offers us a diversely experimental sound without losing the rawness true to Pearl Jam’s greatness. I know this album personally felt like a life saver in my fragile little world at the time, and honestly still does today.
