Elgin's Orchard Apple Juice, a journey through the seasons... We started this great project in Winter 2022. During pruning season the idea to make a video about the entire process from pruning the trees to bottling the juice was born. From the cold winter we moved to bright spring days with blossoming apple trees. Every season of that year I filmed a couple of days in the orchard at Kirkhill, resulting in the video below.

It seems like a long time ago since I spent a day filming at The Mandala Garden Project. It was a lovely sunny day, late summer. It was great to see how this inspiring, certified organic garden is thriving after just a few years of gardening.
Ute Wegener runs the farm together with dedicated volunteers and in harmony with nature. Mandala Garden Project produces vegetables and fruit for the local community around Forres and Nairn.

Recently I changed the name of my business from 'Draai' into 'Connecting Images'. Draai is a great versatile Dutch name that really suited my video production business but it is not a word that is easily translated into English. After I moved to Scotland I decided to change the name. But changing a good business name after almost 20 years into a new one is not easy.

So it took a while. But here it is: Connecting Images.
Because I like to connect people through visual communication. I love it when businesses connect with their audience through moving images. Even though I wanted to change the name into an English name, it doesn't mean I only serve clients from the UK, I am still working for Dutch clients too.

And with a new name comes a new website, a site that will be moving and changing and flowing trough time. So that is where it is at the moment, still a bit under construction but ready to be published too
