f the cool saxophonists, Lee Konitz,Warnr Marsh, and Stan Getzs. Miles Davis played an important part in the early stages and the infliance of virtuoso pianist Lennie Tristano was all -pervasive. The music was accepted more gracefullu by the public and critics than bop, and painist Dave Brubeck became its most widley known performer.
