Go-Ahead has aquired the Procters group of companies in North and West Yorkshire, and County Durham. These are Procters Coaches, Compass of Royston, Esk Valley and Fourway of Leeds. These retain their individual identities and are managed by East Yorkshire. Procters had been established in 1990 as a two vehicle operation and at the time of sale, the combined fleet was 140 coaches and buses.

It was announced on 29/4/24, that Simonds of Diss is the latest acquisition by Vectare.
Simonds ADL/Enviro 200 YY67 HBH in Ipswich on Saturday 30/12/23.
It is awaiting the 1745 departure on the 114 back to Diss via Debenham and Eye.

The first of 62 new Wright GB Kite Electroliners entered service with First Solent in the Fareham, Gosport and Portsmouth areas from 8/4/24. This will lead to Hoeford depot becoming 40% electric.

Van Hool has been declared bankrupt. It looks like VDL will be acquiring the bus and coach side.
