Cine Joven Studios Cine Joven Studios is based out of the Austin School of Film. Our goal is to promote cross cultural understanding and appreciation through media creation

Since 2005, the Cine Joven program has served the Latino community of central Texas by providing access to professional instruction and digital tools in order for youth to be able to tell their stories and experiences. This program provides free or low-cost learning opportunities, outside of school, where youths are challenged to conceive of and produce complex film projects. This program not only

facilitates cross-cultural understanding, but provides valuable production experience for typically underserved communities. Works are screened during our Loud & Clear Teen Film Festival at the Alamo Drafthouse, entered into national and international film festivals, and featured on Spanish speaking television networks.
